Does anyone know if the entertainment show of High School Musical 2 @ Hollywood Studios is a permanent show or just a short-time event? My DD4 would LOVE it and I want to know if it will be around for our trip in October 2008.

I don't know for sure how long-term it is but I suspect that it will likely be there in October still.

since HSM 3 is not out yet, I bet you are safe that they will still be running it in October.

I haven't actually seen High School Musical 1 or 2 yet but I'm trying to get my hands on it without paying actual money to rent it. I think my DSis might lend it to me.

I'm a 34 year old mother who just happens to like HSM. :) We saw it in 2006 when it was over in tomorrowland at MK. Last year it moved to MGM and we missed it due to bad weather. My daughter would love to see it again.

The HSM2 show is great!
My DD (4) had a great time watching it and participating in it.
Here are some pictures. Well I don't know who to add the photos so here are the links:

The show is on Disney just about every week.
My DD loves the show and I guess there are worst role models out there (Zoey 101)

Hannah this site is for fans regardless of your opinion-if you dont like something please do not reply to it-especially with inapropriate comments there should be no negativity here, having said that-i was just in Disney this past weekend and asked a cast member this very question. We are having a family reunion there in September and all the kids will want to see HSM2-it will be running through all of 2008.:cool1:

it is the HSM pep rally it is preformed about 4 times a day in front of the big hat at DHS, no tickets, but you do want to get in position a little early as this is a popular show, and little ones get invited to dance with the cast, so be prepared with your camera.
We're all in this together.

Sorry but this just got me laughing...
No negativity...lol...your new right? Lol J/K...
But seriously I thought her comment was a bit lets just say over the top but ppl on these boards often get negative and post inapropriate comments. As long as there is no "attacks" on anyone then it's all good. But in Hannah's defence...everyone should be free to express their opinion, all the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Now to the topic at hand...It is not a full show like you go and sit down and watch a big production. It is a moving concert type thing where the kids get to interact and join in the fun. I think a "real" show would be great...it would appeal to a little older crowd...the tweens.
