How easy is it to get from our resort to ADR at another resort?

We have dinner reservations at Whispering Canyon Cafe. :banana: We plan to spend the day at MK, however, we want to return to our resort CBR to rest & freshen up for dinner. How do we get back to WL for our ADR? I've heard tell that we have to take the bus back to MK entrance, then boat over to WL. How much time should we allow to do that? We're driving so we will have our car at our resort. Should we just suck it up and drive over? (Great, there goes the wine with dinner)... :rotfl:

If I had my car I would drive myself. This may be the only instance I would not use the WDW transportation during my stay. We did the busses from resort to resort and you must always go to a park, DTD etc to get to the other resort this can be really time consuming.

there is a boat from the front gate of MK that goes back and forth to WL... this will add time to the commute... but then you don't have to drive. So CBR to MK, boat from MK to WL.
