 The tale of the lost basket:confused:

Ok so here is what happened to the first basket I posted that changed my whole color scheme, remember that one??

Ok so I got it on Ebay and paid for the thing. I received a tracking number for the US Postal Service. Ok so it was sent snail mail but whatever. It should get here.

I checked the tracking after about a week of it being missing and it said it was in Jacksonville, Florida being processed even though the seller was located in Maine. Hmmm...ok New Jersey is on the way down from Maine to Florida...strange.

Then I checked it again about 2 days ago and it was in Texas. I was totally lost at that point. From Maine, to Florida to Texas. When will it come to Jersey??? :confused3

Saturday! Thats when. I got it today. I opened the box and was totally in love with it. Its the perfect size and perfect colors. I am so happy I got it. :cloud9:

Sadly, I am still bidding on the alternate basket. Oh well. Can't have too many baskets for stuff.....Right?

In conclusion, I have a very well traveled basket but at least its mine now and it made it home. :yay:

That sounds like a Meg route - from Maine to New Jersey with stops in both Texas and Florida (where I have family no less! lol!). I'm so happy for you that you've gotten your basket! :thumbsup2 What a trip though!!

PS - Today's your 3 month mark - Congrats! It's so close now!! :)

Hey Toni! I'm so happy to hear you got your basket! :goodvibes I agree you can never have to many baskets. And it gives you options! I purchased something on ebay paid for it on 10/23 got a tracking number said it arrived in IL on 10/26 and still haven't received it.... so maybe it just needs time!

BTW, I get more than a little freaked out every time you say how close your wedding is because mine is before yours!! :scared1:

ADR'S AND SCHEDULE

Well today I made our ADR's and worked out our schedule. So here is how things will go.

January 31st-We arrive in Disney!!!!! and I head to the Grand Floridian with my parents while Bobby goes to ASMusic with his mom.

February 1st-Bobby checks into the Wilderness Lodge Villas!
Rehearsal!!

My Bridal Tea at the Gardenview room!!! That was my first ADR!

February 2nd. My Wedding day of course!

February 3rd. MK photos and breakfast for 17 :scared1: at Crystal Palace.
Dinner in Italy with Bobby's family.

February 4th. Taking it easy playing in the parks. No ADR's

February 5th. Luai at the Poly with my family. Love that show.

February 6th. Dinner at Cali Grill with Bobby and Christina and Geancarlo! My twin and her hubby! Yay!

February 7th: Prime time Cafe. I cant wait for Bobby to get in there! He has never been.

February 8th: Sea World, Bobby loves Sea World, Amazingly, I have never been.

February 9th: Cinderella's Castle for Dinner!

February 10th: Coral Reef!

February 11th: Massages at the Grand Floridian then whatever else! Our last day. :sad1:

February 12th: Flying home!!!!!!!!

WOW! That is a lot. I tried to get into Le Cellier but that wasn't happening. I am bummed. I have never been there. I might try while we are there to see if there are any openings. I am dying to try their Maple Creme Brulee and Cheese soup. I am super excited to have dinner with Christina and Geancarlo though! :yay:

I just booked our rental car from Alamo. I got the Annual Pass discount which was about $30.00. We rented the Grand Prix "or similar". I am going to pre-pay and check in online too so we can just go and not wait in line.

Hmmm...what else have I done??? Thats about it for now. Like I said, I made my reservations for my tea party which will be held after our rehearsal. I bought favors. I will share them with you all later! Very cute stuff. :thumbsup2

Toni -- Your ADRs sound great! Yes, you definitely have to try to walk up to LeCellier. We were able to walk-in one night at 8:30 after the dinner rush. So, don't give up!
What time is your MKPS? Will you be staying in the park after that for breakfast at CP? Or do you have to leave and come back? Also, how did you get the AP rate for alamo? We haven't activated our APs yet. Is there a way to check what the rates would be for our rental if we had our APs?

I will definitely give it a try. My MKPS is at 5am. I will just have to go back to get changed and maybe rest for a tiny bit before heading back out.

For Alamo, I found a code on ******************** when you make your reservation, there is a section that asks for an ID code. You type in ID 860292, then when where it asks for your membership number you type in the letters/numbers on the back of the annual pass voucher. You don't have to have them activated yet. Plus, you can make the reservation, and you don't have to pay yet. You can make it and if you decide to cancel you can cancel it at any time.

It does seem is pretty hard to get into there. I have never been so I really wanted to get in but I am going to keep calling in case there are cancellations. I was surprised, I tried about 12 dates but all of them were booked. :sad2:

Bridal Shower Invites Are Out!

So this weekend my FMIL and I addressed all 82 shower invitations. Crazy! I told her I could just print the envelopes on the computer but she wanted to address them. SOOOOOOOO that is what we did.

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/last012.jpg
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/last013.jpg
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/last019.jpg

FMIL is trying to get more addresses that we didn't have. I am pretty tired and bored at this point.

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/last020.jpg

So I think I previously shared the invitation but just in case, here it is again.

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/getimagephp.jpg

We also made these inserts to include.

This one is for the wishing well. I am sure most people have these. My family does them ALL the time and usually put gadgets and things in it. My MOH is making it. I had to cut out SOOO many of these things!

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/last007.jpg

We are also asking for guests to bring their favorite receipe so we included an index card and this little poem.

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/last011.jpg

It was a ton of work but I am glad its done. The shower is January 10th. Can't wait. It should be a nice time!

My FMIL is paying for the whole thing. We booked a local country club, which I know I previously showed pictures. The centerpieces we picked out are really cool, they are flowers and kitchen utensils. Hard to describe but they really are cool. I will be sure to share pics.

Thats all for now! In about two weeks the wedding invites go out and there is no turning back!!! :scared1:

Wedding Invites are out!!!

I sent out the invites a tiny bit earlier because of my last minute family. I really would like to know exactly how many are coming. Surprisingly, Bobby's dad is not sure he is going! It blows my mind but I can't say I am surprised, Bobby's isn't either.

So I figured I would post some pictures of the invites all done up in their final form. Here are my super Shabby Chic invitations!

Funny story though about the invites. I had them all sealed and ready to go and it hit me! :headache: I forgot to put a stamp on the RSVP return envelope. Ughh...I was so annoyed but people are still sending them back and I haven't heard anything so maybe they really didn't notice. :rolleyes1

My advice on invitations, make sure you have a stamp on your return envelope. :lmao:

Love the invites, Toni! I don't think you sent them out too early for a WDW wedding, as you need some final counts earlier than you would at home. I sent mine out eight weeks ago, and your wedding is only like 10 days after mine :rotfl: . I might have been a little early :rolleyes2: As for the stamp: I think people who were going to send them back will regardless, and people who weren't wouldn't even with the stamp. I stamped all of mine and got one card back

Wow Toni I LOVE the invites!! They came out amazing! :cool1:

I totally understand the frustration of your DF's dad saying he might not come. When we initially told DF's brother about having the wedding at Disney he said he was excited, but now is saying he might not come. And it is only one state down for him! He comes here to South Carolina all the time but can't go down to Florida ONCE for his brother's wedding? So frustrating. :sad2:

I love them Toni!!! :lovestruc
I like the backdrop as well - you could put them in a catalog! :thumbsup2

Thanks Meg!!! I got bored one night and said, hmm...let me do a little background for them. I thought it would look nice in a scrapbook! :rotfl:

Your invites came out so great!!!! That sucks about the stamp but at least everyone is still returning them. It seems like people usually have a LOT of trouble getting those back.

Thanks Val! Yeah the stamps did suck but I figured oh well to late now. It seems that some RSVP's came in and now its halted! I don't know, I always send RSVP's back as soon as I get them. :confused3

You're invites really do look amazing. I bet you are so excited with the big day getting so close. I can't wait and it's not even my day lol.

Thank you!!!! I am getting very excited now. I can't believe how fast time flies by!

So beautiful, Toni!

I can tell you right now, you're going to be a getting a lot of compliments on them! That was one of the best parts of all the planning... hearing positive feedback on all your hard work!

Thanks Jennifer!!!! I did hear some comments back from family and it did make me feel good. You always do things for your wedding to be beautiful and to make yourself happy but its really nice to hear great feedback on the selections I made.

Wow your invitations are just beautiful Toni!!

Wow, i'm suprised, and very sorry, that Bobby's dad isn't sure he is going! That just completely blows my mind.

Thanks Jennifer! Yeah I don't know what it going on with his dad. Its silly. I feel bad for him but hopefully his dad will come to his senses.

Toni -- Your invitations came out so well! They are absolutely gorgeous! I know it must feel awesome to have them out. :woohoo:

Thanks!!!!! It really does feel good to have them out!!!! That really makes it seem like its all coming together now and its almost here!

Thank you! Thank you!!! :rotfl: I think you are right! You can't be to early for a destination wedding. You do need to turn in numbers a little bit earlier than a normal at home wedding. I don't think we sent them out too early. I think we are both good! :thumbsup2 I wish you were still going to be in Disney while I am there! I would have loved to have met up!! Maybe if we go back for our anniversaries we can meet!

 I hope he decides to go. Bobby is calling his dad tomorrow to see if he is going or not. If he isn't Bobby has decided to invite an Aunt and Uncle that we couldn't fit in to the guest list. Its really sad that a father even has to think about it. :sad2:

Thanks!!! I had never really paid much attention to Pfaltzgraff but Bobby loves it and he actually picked the Napoli pattern. The colors really match how I am going to decorate the house so its perfect.

:lovestruc Favors Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lovestruc

So Bobby finally got off his butt and did the drawing for our favors! They came out fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so my DF Bobby draws cartoons. We thought it would be a nice personalized favor for him to draw a cartoon picture of us, in wedding attire, and put it on something using Cafepress. So we decided on mugs. Everyone can use a mug! I had the idea to get some coffee and cocoa to put in with the mug to complete it. I figured since we are having a Disney wedding, I would use Mickey Coffee and Cocoa! So when I went on my planning session trip, I bought a bunch of Mickey Coffee and Cocoa at DTD.

Bobby was supposed to have the favors done a while ago but he got a little lazy with it. I nagged him endlessly until he finally did the drawing and we submitted it to Cafepress. We just got the mugs!!! So here are some pictures of the mugs and how I will be packaging them up.

Now we also have two 3 year olds coming and we obviously couldn't give them a mug and coffee! :rotfl: So we went to the Disney Store and, in keeping with the whole mug/cup theme got these along with a stuffed animal in lieu of the coffee/cocoa!

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/037.jpg

and this is how they are wrapped. I had to make little name tags so that we can designate the babies from the adults. I thought I would make little mickey head name tags out of some cardstock I had left. I made a template using a soda bottle cap and a gatorade bottle cap. :lmao: Hey it worked!

Tea Party Details

I will be having a Bridal Tea for all the ladies attending the wedding. We will have about 20 girls there. Three of which are little girls. The tea will take place on Sunday, February 1st at 2pm at the Garden View Tea Room in the Grand Floridian which will be after our rehearsal.

When you have a large group you have to pre-select a menu and I chose the Buckingham Palace Menu for the women which includes:

Buckingham Palace $19.50 per guest
Our traditional tea sandwiches, scone and jam tart complemented by fresh strawberries and cream; or a selection of freshly baked pastries served with your choice of tea.

The three little girls will have the Mrs. Potts tea menu which includes:

Mrs Pott's Tea $10.50 per guest
For the younger "tea lover" in your party, we offer a different variety of tea sandwiches: tuna salad, ham and cheese, and peanut butter and jelly on white bread. We serve our Mad Hatter tea, followed with a choice of two pastries.

Tea Party Attire

As I previously posted, this is the dress I bought for the tea which was purchased from Ann Taylor.

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/225522_6600.jpg

I am also asking the ladies to wear a hat if they would like so I bought this hat to go with my dress. Its so very Audrey Hepburn which is my fashion idol. :cutie:

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/08f7_1.jpg

I bought red flats from the Gap and a matching clutch to also go with everything but I don't have a pic of those.

Tea Party Favors

I wanted my favors to reflect the tea so I found these adorable candles on www.beau-coup.com.

Toni,

Wow girl, you are getting so close!! We just got back from Disney, we were there the week before Christmas, and I was thinking about you while we were there!!!:goodvibes Those tea party favors are SOOO cute!!! I never thought of doing favors for the tea party, but now I will have to...:) I also love the tags that are on them!! Question: Did you have to know exactly how many people were coming to the tea party and if so, did you have people RSVP specifically for that? Or how does that work? Can you just give Disney an estimated #? Just curious. I didn't get to see pics of your dress fitting, you must have already took them down. If you want, you can email them to me, I would love to see them...Flurbee@aol.com...If you have time, that is....I am excited for you, its coming so fast.

For the tea, I just gave them an estimate of how many will attend. I had to call group dining since I am having 20 girls there. I was going to send out an invitation to the women about the tea party and have them RSVP so that I could get an idea of who would be going but it kind of went around by word of mouth and I talked to all the women and figured out who was going to attend. I was told that I don't have to tell Disney that they will add it up that day.

Some Random Updates

I have some pictures of things for the wedding that I thought I would share. Some items have been purchased and some have been made!

Up First we have some random purchases. :goodvibes
My FMIL bought me these makeup bags on her recent vacation. It was so sweet of her!

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/ToniDanifunweekend106.jpg

My Matron of Honor Gifts:)

My cousin/matron of honor loves cherries. When I went to Disney this past June I saw this adorable purse and wallet so I had to scoop it up for her. I also wanted to get her some piece of jewelry to wear with her gown so I found this silver locket at the World of Disney store in DTD.

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/ToniDanifunweekend131.jpg
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/ToniDanifunweekend155.jpg
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/ToniDanifunweekend145.jpg

Feeling chilly...........

Since my wedding is in February and I knew it would be cold at the Dessert Party I bought a Pashmina to wear. This is a bad picture since its laying on a white sheet but I am sure you can make it out...LOL

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/ToniDanifunweekend115.jpg

A little something for the DF............: :lovestruc
My DF is a HUGEEEEEEEE Batman fan so since everything in this wedding is all about me I thought I would bring in a little of his personality so I bought him these Batman cufflinks. He loves them.

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/ToniDanifunweekend159.jpg

In this same theme, for our New Jersey reception, I got these garters.

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/ToniDanifunweekend113.jpg

I knew my DF would keep this garter as opposed to my Donald Disney one..lol.

I got this really cute bag from Ebay. I loved it when I saw it and right now I am storing my wedding planner and documents in it.

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/ToniDanifunweekend161.jpg
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/ToniDanifunweekend162.jpg

Now for the creative side.................................: :wizard:

I played around with making the program for the ceremony. I stress out making things making sure they don't look cheesy. If there was some kind of website that made invitations and programs in small quantities instead of like 100 at a time, I would just have someone else do them...lol.

So, that being said, here is my attempt at a program. The inside pages are made with vellum and the outside is a double sided card stock. One side is the dark pink and the inside is the light pink. I used a silver stamp from Martha Stewart crafts to make the silver swirlies and the "P" monogram.

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/ToniDanifunweekend243.jpg
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/ToniDanifunweekend245.jpg
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/ToniDanifunweekend246.jpg

I may play around with something else but I kind of like them. I didn't want the stamp to be perfect. I kind of wanted it to look worn out to fit with my shabby chic theme. I did want them to be simple yet elegant in a way.

Ok now with the favors. As I have stated before I was going to have my DF draw a picture of us in cartoon form, with our wedding clothes on and the mickey bride/groom ears. Well he is a bit of a slacker with this so I don't have the mugs done yet...lol. but while I was in Disney for my planning session I did get coffee and cocoa from DTD.

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/ToniDanifunweekend107.jpg

Ok so I did a mock up of what the favors will be like. I used a mug in my house for illustration purposes only. PLEASE DO NOT THINK I AM GIVING PEOPLE THESE UGLY MUGS....LOL. This is basically to give you an idea until I get my real mugs....whenever that may be...lol.

Ok so I am getting white boxes and filling them with tissue paper. I also bought some white paper roses and pink mini flowers to put on the boxes along with ribbon and little silver thank you charms. I bought pink ribbon and silver ribbon. I will be alternating the boxes with the pink and silver ribbon. This will be my way of telling which box has coffee and which has cocoa. I want to make sure each couple gets one coffee and one cocoa. So here are the favor pictures.

This is the outside of the box shown with the pink ribbon:
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/15.jpg
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/16.jpg

and now this is my mock up. Remember the ugly green mug is NOT the favor mug...LOL.

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/ToniDanifunweekend111.jpg
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/ToniDanifunweekend112.jpg

I think they will be pretty cool when I get the real mugs. I also want to get that shredded paper to put in the boxes instead of tissue paper but thats all I had at the time.

Well I guess thats all the updates for now! I feel like I am running out of wedding stuff to do...lmao. I am just well ahead for now so I guess I can take a rest. ;) If I can actually let myself do that!

OMG! My fiance is batman obsessed too!! He wants to name our first son Bruce Wayne lol .. the prices we pay lol.. Can you tell me where you found the cufflinks and garter?

6 More Months and My Magic Kingdom Photo Shoot Bouquet:flower:

So I am now officially 6 months away from my wedding day!!! Well August 2nd will be 6 months but that is only 2 hours away so I am close. :rotfl:

It is exciting but it seems so far away and its NOT going by fast. At least not yet. I hope this changes.

Anyway, on my floral BEO I had a $75.00 charge to refresh my bouquet for the MK photos and a new bout. for Bobby that would be 20.00. I didn't want to pay 95.00 for a refreshed bouquet when I could use that money for something else and I knew I could make one, so I did and I thought I would share pictures.

Basically I made a similar bouquet to my real one that I will have at the wedding. I made it much smaller and I changed the ribbon around a bit but it is still similar. I used to be a florist so it wasn't that much of a challenge for me. This bouquet only cost me 20.00 to make which is better than 75.00!

I am going to use it for the MK photos but I am also going to use it for my at home reception to toss.

Here are some pictures.

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/weddingstuff006.jpg
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/weddingstuff007.jpg
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/weddingstuff003-1.jpg

I think it works for its purpose. Rose will be taking away my bouquet later in the wedding day to deliver to keepsake floral so I needed something for the MK photos.

These are gorgeous! I'm looking for someone to do my flowers. I know you have a lot to do, but if I paid you will you do one for me for my Feb wedding as well? I know it's a lot to ask and you can totally say no!

I hope that helps someone. Bobby thinks its nuts but hey you only get married once...hopefully.

So I just booked Carolyn Allens on Monday. I called up and spoke with a very nice gentlemen, can't recall his name but he was very nice. So I guess you can book them a month out with no problems. They did have another steaming scheduled that day at 9am so they have to come to my room at 7am. WOW! My dress is silk taffeta which needs to be pressed and not steamed. Apparently I have a high maintenance dress. Who knew.

My bridal shower is next Saturday, January 10th. I can't wait. It should be fun. I will be sure to have pics to post.

My bachlorette party is set for January 17th. We are going to Atlantic City to the Borgata. My favorite casino. I will take pics and post that for you all as well.

I finished my programs. They came out great. I changed the paper on them to do a sort of green floral type of thing. Here are the pictures. I love the basket. I actually added crystals to the bows by using antique earrings that my grandmother passed down to me. I wanted to add a little crystal sparkle to match up with the crystals I have on my head table. Gotta love bling!

Just a bunch of randomness

Ok I have about 2 weeks left and I have all these darn thoughts of what I have to do left in my mind.

What I have left: At least I hope this is all I have left!

:upsidedow Pick up my dress (today!)
:upsidedow Pack up all of the wedding items (favors, decorative things I am bringing)
:upsidedow Makes lists of what I am bringing and where everything is suppose to go for Celeste and Rose.
:upsidedow Pack
:upsidedow Clean up our future home and get it ready for when we come back (I really don't want to do that when I come back..lol)
:upsidedow Finish packaging up my favors
:upsidedow Get my dress and accessories all ready
:upsidedow Write out thank you notes and send them out. (the only reason I am doing this is so that I can include instructions on how to view our webcast).
:upsidedow Call STVS and schedule a time where Bobby and I are going to do our courtship story
:upsidedow Confirm with Beaute Speciale and Carolyn Allen's to make sure they still have me scheduled. (this is my ocd I have to make sure everyone is on track)...lol
:upsidedow make sure I have all contact info in my cell phone and in my wedding binder.

hmm...thats about it I guess. Seems worse in my head. :rotfl:

Yesterday I spoke with Rev. Jack Day. This has always been a worry of mine that he would not have us scheduled because all I ever did was speak with him by email (which is totally my fault) and the emails are always vague. So yesterday I finally called him and he kept calling me Jennifer which freaked me out but it turns out he was just messing with me and had us all scheduled for the ceremony and rehearsal so that was a HUGE weight off of me to have that taken care of.

Also, I spoke with Disney floral to set up something special for our wedding night. See, Bobby has been to Disney before but actually never did anything while he was there (strange I know) so I am trying to make this trip very special for him since its basically his "first time" where he will actually experience Disney. So I ordered the "From Mickey and Minnie with Love" package with Disney floral. Its really nice. Here is the description they give you on the website.

From the moment you step into your Walt Disney World resort room, you step into a world of romance, experiencing all the magic Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse have arranged just for you! They heard congratulations were in order, so they turned back the bed and sprinkled rose petals on the sheets and chocolates on your pillows. Cozy bath towels, specially embroidered with your names, are draped across the foot of the bed and a spa basket for two sits waiting for you.

On the table nearby, a splash of castle confetti, a dozen pixie-dusted roses, and a custom-matted photo of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse stands to congratulate you. Then, for the final touch, three magically lit candles are scattered about to set the mood for romance – and, if you look closely, you’ll find Tinker Bell. spreading a little magic too! All of this is not only meant for you to enjoy – every piece has been selected for you to take home … with love.

I want to say this package is $265.00 but I am not 100% sure since I totally forgot.

Also, while I was on the phone she said that they now offer personalized robes to match the towels for an extra $100.00 so I said well you might as well I mean if I am spending that much whats an extra $100.00 plus I am a robe freak...:rotfl: so the total was $365.00 (i am pretty sure) plus tax and stuff like that it came out to over $400.00. I am just praying that they do it since I have heard a few girls here say that things weren't delivered.

Oh here is the link to the website too. http://www.disneyflorist.com/product/waltdisneyworldflorist-Disney-Celebration-Romance-Mickey-Minnie-Anniversary-Engagement-Honeymoon-Rose/display

Also, news about my nerves...LOL. As many of you know I posted previously about my nerves about moving and flying. Well I stayed over Bobby's last weekend and I LOVED it. It was great to be there and I didn't want to leave so I guess I am over that...:rotfl: Plus after moving in all of our shower gifts I felt at home since things were now OURS and not just HIS. It was nice throwing out HIS stuff. :lmao: Plus, I have some xanax for the plane so I am set with that..:lmao: So everything seems to be coming along nicely. The time went by fast but now its seems these last 2 weeks are dragging!!!!

Do not worry about moving in with him. I see you are waiting like me until you are married. LOL sorry to put you in debt but it will be worth it!! They actually give you options of what time you want them to come out and set it up. They did say that you can't do it the first night that you check in because it is harder for them to find you in the resort. Bachlorette Party (Atlantic City)

I thought that I would share some of my "tame" bachlorette party pictures :rotfl: .

We went to Atlantic City. First we stopped at the Borgata which is my favorite casino plus they have an awesome buffet and then we went over to Harrahs. I didn't win any money but still had a blast. I had a bunch of well wishes and one drunk guy that screamed "Don't do it!!!". Dork. :rotfl2:

So anyway, here are a few of my pics.

Why do people insist on going to work sick?!!! I don't get it. My list that I previously posted still looks the same so I won't give an update on that. Thats about all for now!

Sounds like you had a good time! Only two weeks left...how exciting! I hear you about the people coming to work sick, working as a hairstylist we get the sick clients all the time (just because you stayed home from work today doesn't make it a great opportunity to get into the salon). I wish you all the vitamin C and immunity you can find...load up on the airborne, it saves me during the worst seasons...Good Luck!! Can't wait to hear more :goodvibes

It was so much fun in Atlantic City. We need to go!! Your town on AC probably looks like a mess!! LOL. You have to pluck some weeds! I told Bobby I don't want to see what our town looks like after the honeymoon. I was trying to get him to take the Wii so we can play in Disney (yes sick I know) but he is to afraid the Wii might break or get lost on a plane.

2 more weeks! I can't believe it! My DF sort of had a party that same night. He just went out to dinner with his Best Man. In Disney his best man, brother and the other guys are all going to do something and watch the super bowl. :cheer2:

Oh wow!!! How cool is that! What day does that fall on next year? I was getting a lot of complaints from my family since the Eagles were in the playoffs. They told me if they won and went to the super bowl I would have a bunch of drunk people at my wedding because they were all going to go to the super bowl. Now that they lost I have no worries. :rotfl2:

Oh wow, can you image if they made it! My family would probably say the same if the Pats made it! We have even decided to have the rehearsal dinner as a tailgate lunch... just in case the Pats make it in 2010.
The Monday after the superbowl in 2/8/10 next year, so hoepfully i can book stuff with WDW in 2 1/2 weeks, then I can breath a sigh of relief!:lmao:
We were worried that flights would be a ton of money to MCO because of the superbowl being in Tampa (it's in Miami next year, a little further then Tampa anyways) but it seems to be ok when I have checked airfair prices... were your prices reasonable for guests?

Actually the flights were pretty good. They were 134.00 round trip. Of course we are all flying out on Spirit Airlines which is a pretty cheap airline. Our seats which I guess would be their first class (they are larger seats with more leg room) were only $109.00! I guess we caught them on a good day! A tailgate party sounds like fun!! I think thats a great idea.

I hate the weather!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so annoyed. When the forecast finally became available for February 2nd it said it was going to be sunny and in the 70's. Last night it said on weather.com that there is going to be a 60% chance of showers and in the 60's. Then another website says its going to be sunny and in the 70's. Basically 3 websites say its NOT going to rain and 3 websites say it IS going to rain.

I am just going to guess that a "shower" means an occasional light sprinkle that may pass from time to time as opposed to "rain" which means an all day event. At least I hope thats what it means. If it rains the whole thing will be ruined since everything is practically outside. Grr. I hate the weather!!!!

Toni,
Maybe this will help you look at things in a different perspective...

DF and I met and it was raining. Our first date it was pouring. Every time we went away, Tropical storms, the first time we went to maine, it was flooded the first time in 55 years...Engagement, rain lol

So, we kept saying that on our wedding it will probably rain. We mentioned this to fmil and she said, Let me show you something...

She then brought our her wedding pictures. It POURED (As it was in august) and the pictures are just breathtaking.

They've been married for 35 years now, and she said to me
"If you cant make the best on a rainy day then you won't know how to handle your marriage"

It really made me take a step back and realize, that she was right. So now, we are hoping for rain on our wedding day... I know itwould stink but, its the truth. I've also decided on a second dress and I promise u i will run into the puddles if necessary to wake myself up and drag myself out of the slump...

Hope that helped you a little. I know it would stink. I am also going to say a prayer that you dont get rain!

I am not really worried about getting wet and those umbrella shots would be really cool, but I am just worried I won't get to have the carriage and my dessert party outside which would really annoy me. It's the Final Countdown!!!
(love that song by the way) :cool1:

Ok so on to other news besides weather, which by the way has changed at least 5 times since my initial rain forecast. (we now have sunnys skies).

So this is my final week as a single girl. I told Bobby that was depressing and he said well if I want I can have all the single weeks I want if I feel that way. :rotfl2: of course we were just joking.

So the nerves are starting to come on strong now. I haven't eaten much today because my stomach feels like its doing backflips. Partially because of the wedding, partially because of the plane and partially because I am a nut.

Ok so here are some things that I haven't posted on. I had a situation with my favors for the kids. I WAS, upon Bobby's suggestion, going to give the kids a mug and some hot cocoa but I ran out of cocoa. I couldn't get anymore since its from Disney and well, I am not near Disney so I had to think of something else. So we were totally stumped as to what we could do for the kids.

Anyway, a Super Walmart just opened near us and we went to the toy section checking the aisles for something that we can give the kids. They are all different ages so it was hard but we finally decided on the following gifts.

For the 12, 11 and 16 year olds we got these 20 questions game. Its so cool. You think of something, anything and answer the questions the little game asks you. It can actually figure out what you were thinking. Pretty cool. It should occupy them for about an hour. They were $8.00 each.

Then for the 7 year old we got a magna doodle. We thought it would entertain her for a little while during the reception.

Then we got some bags to wrap them up in and I put little labels on them to identify them for the kids.

Here are some pictures my mom took of me packaging them.

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/weddingstuff001-2.jpg
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/weddingstuff002-3.jpg
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/weddingstuff003-3.jpg
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/weddingstuff004-2.jpg
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/weddingstuff005.jpg

Hopefully they like them. So I packed everything up last night and made labels for the boxes. I was told by my planner to make sure all of the items are in boxes seperated (ceremony stuff, reception stuff) so I have one lonely box for the ceremony which is only holding the programs and program basket.

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/weddingstuff008-1.jpg

Then I have 2 boxes for the reception. I have a list which tells the planner what is in each box and where everythig should go because I am anal like that. :lmao:

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/weddingstuff007-1.jpg
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/Dancefever1978/weddingstuff006-1.jpg

I also confirmed with all the vendors today to make sure they still had me scheduled since I haven't talked to most since last summer. Everything is a go with them.

All that is left to do now is pack my clothes. I am a slacker when it comes to that area. It will get done eventually.

So here is the latest weather reports since I am still obsessing.

From weather.msn.com: PM Drizzle. High 69, Low 53
From weather.com: Partly Cloudy, High 72, Low 49 10% chance of rain
From accuweather.com: mainly cloudy with showers possible, High 71, Low 52.
From wesh.com: Partly Cloudy, High 71, Low 46.

So from these forecasts I have determined that it will not rain, if it does it will be for a very short time and I am kind of happy about the the partly cloudy weather because I heard that kind of weather makes for good pictures.

I remember when I first joined the Weddings board and your PJ was just starting!!!! Wow, time really does fly by! :flower3:

Aww I am sure you will be!! I am actually VERY lucky to have family driving down. My aunt is bringing down my favors and my mom is bringing my dress and accessories. If I didn't have family, I was going to ship it down to Florida ahead of time. Time really does fly by!!!!! I feel like I was just 6 months away not that long ago!

You just gave me the best idea ever!
I am going to find clear ponchos and write Just Married on the inside with Permanant marker (Backwards of course) for the HM!!!!

OMG that would be great!! I can't take credit for the idea though. It was all Lindsay's idea! I think you guys should team up and start a wedding day poncho company!!! That would be great! :cheer2:

Haha too funny, you could bedazzle one just in case:lmao:

LOL I need a matching umbrella though. Hopefully in my colors! :lmao:

You girls are all great!!! You all take my mind over my stresses and anxiety. Thank you so much!

Toni-Your wedding is the day we're leaving WDW after our honeymoon! We've had such a great time. Don't worry too much about the weather. It was cold the day of our welcome dinner, beautiful the day of the wedding and FREEZING the day of the MK and EPCOT shoot. But, it will all be beautiful!
