I am having a hard time checking my reservation with the dcruise site. I booked through DU, but have a reservation #.
Anyone else? Helpful hints?

All I can say is that I thought I read on a previous thread that DU's numbers are not the same as DCL. If it is a DCL number, it should work. If not, you can't check from the DCL site. Call DU, maybe??

Thanks,
I think it is a dcl # because I have another # for DU. Oh well

Kristaia, I had also tried to check my reservation on the DCL site even though I had booked through DU. I have a DCL reservation number, too. If you'll notice, on the DCL website it says that you can check your reservation if you had booked it online or something to that effect. I guess because we didn't book through DCL online we can't check the ressie. I know I checked it once right after booking and I could see it, but haven't been able to since they changed the site to include CC members section. Bummer!

I have been having trouble too. At one time I was able to check it but ever since then I can't. My friend who has been on two cruises told me that when she had been trying to check her reservations she had the same thing happen. Strange question but did it always say.... if you made reservations THROUGH THIS SITE... or something like that.. wonder if they changed things? Who knows...

Once you give your ressie to a TA, you can't check your own ressie anymore. Everything has to be done thru your TA.

But I booked originally through a TA to begin with and was able to check my ressie... I think that they have recently changed this. Just my 2 cents. I am just taking an educated guess<G>

The reason that you cannot check your reservation is because theTravel agency has special codes that must be entered on the Disney site to pull reservation information from the site.
So the only way to see the reservation is to go through the TA. Even a call to DCL will not help you if you have handed the reservation over to the TA.
This comes from 2 prior cruise experiences

I haven't been able to check ours either. I'm thinking it is because we booked through DVC using points. I have the paperwork from DVC with a reservation #, but it must not be a DCL number because it won't go through.

Thank you to all who have posted. I was just curious about my ressie, and thought I would check it out on the "official" website. Will deal with DU direct if any problems arise.
Happy Cruising.

If you booked through DVC or any other travel agent, you will need to contact them for info on your ressie. DCL ressies can be check online through their website, but again only if you booked directly with Disney Cruise Line themselves.

Lust a simple clarification, you just need to book through DCL. We did it via phone, not online, and were/are able to check on the DCL site.

There used to be a "glitch" in the DCL website system that allowed anyone to check their reservation if they had their DCL confirmation number.
They fixed this a few weeks ago - now you cannot see your reservation information if you booked through a travel agent.
