Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knows approx when the halloween merchandise comes into the shops at DLP? I'm a big fan of Disney Villains and Stitch and i'm getting some amazing villains items for my 21st such as globes, pins, figures etc which isnt available in shops here. But i know they make a big thing of them at halloween time and i'd love to go to DLP for halloween in the future but this year i'm going to be there from Sept 7th. Do you think that is too early for the halloween merchandise to be released??
luv

From Last Sept i seem to remember more Christmas stuff in the shops than Halloween things, so maybe it means it goes on sale just during the halloween season but i may be wrong :confused3

We have been a couple of times at Halloween and they don't really go overboard on Halloween merchandise, although they do tend to have more Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise on sale at this time from what I remember!

I must admit I was disappointed in the Halloween merchandise. There were Halloween pins, ears and plushes and we found mini Mickey and Minnie Halloween figures but I had been hoping for some Halloween snowglobes. :guilty:
However there is a lovely Villains snowglobe for sale there all year round. :thumbsup2

Yes, it's a lovely snowglobe. :thumbsup2
I hope I didn't sound too negative in my post, it's just that the Disney Store online had some mini Halloween snowglobes before we went and I was hoping to be able to get a couple similar to them at the parks. Unfortunately I didn't find any ~ I know I could have got the ones in this country but it's not quite the same. ;)
Sometimes I wish I was in charge of DLRP merchandise buying!! :rotfl2:

The biggest selection of NBC stuff we found was in the shop in Frontierland , opposite Lucky Nugget, I can't remember the name, but I bought quite a few bits in there, my favourite was a plush Jack in a Santa Outfit, he sat on top of one of my Christmas trees last year. :)

aww no you didnt sound negative at all. I'm really excited now because my mam has just bought the globe online for my 21st  :cool1: So that saves me getting it in DLRP and worrying about getting it back safe lol. :woohoo:
I'll still have a look for other things though- it would be impossible not too lol.

ooh cool, thanks for that. I'll keep a look out next time. I dont think we really explored Frontierland that much when we where there. Awww that Jack sounds cute! I do remember one shop assistant asking me where i got my NBC bag from because she loved it but was a bit gutted when i said it was from the UK disney store lol.

How lovely, I bet you can't wait until your birthday! :goodvibes
And buying it over here means it will free space in your luggage to buy lots more souvenirs at DLRP! :thumbsup2
