All I see are American flags so far. I wonder if that's because this site is dominated by American posters or because the perception and importance of the national flag in America is different than it is in other countries.

Probably a combination of both. I'm pretty sure I don't have any of the Union Jack!

Another of Old Glory. Last fall, my kids' school participated in See You at the Pole, where whoever wanted could pray for the school, country, etc. It was a beautiful morning.

His one I took of my 6 week old son for 4th of July. This shot was used by a PAC as part of a voter education drive.

Unfortunately here in Australia we don't demonstrate our patriotism as well as you do in the US - it takes a lot to find a flag flying here except on government/official buildings - oh and of course McDonalds!!! ;)
So this is my picture of our flag! This is the windscreen cover I took to WDW last November - can I say I always found the rental car in the car parks!! Well, no-one else had one!!! :thumbsup2

I am determined to get a picture of our flag actually on a flag pole, though!!!

This one is at a local "flag" park close by. This was about 2 hrs after I bought my d60, so give me a little break for the bad exposure... LOL

The big flag is H U G E!!! It doesn't show in the pic, but it is the biggest flag I have ever seen in person.
