OMG!!! I can't believe that I just upgraded to the DxDP. We are going for 10 nights (me, DH, DD13, DD9 & DS9). With what I had budgeted for in-room breakfasts, oop snacks, extra oop meals, & the resort mugs, it will only wind up costing me an additional $200 for 30 meals (as I see fit) and 2 snacks per day!!!

My dilemma now is, where do we eat? We can enjoy some 2 TS meals & extra meals. Here's what we already have, can you help with some more suggestions.

All are dinner unless specified. We have:
Boma
Coral Reef
Marrakesh (lunch)
Crystal Palace (bfast & dinner)
1900 Park Fare
'Ohana
Chef Mickey's (bfast & dinner)
WCC
Garden Grill (lunch)
Kona
50's PTC

Thank you so much!!!:yay: :yay: :yay: :woohoo: :woohoo:

How funny I just did the SAME thing it is me DH, DD - 14, Ds - 9 and DD - 8!!

We are doing Hoop dee doo!! That is two table service credits but well worth it!!
You could try the new Tusker House Breakfast with Donald!! I hear it is good! We also love LeCellier!!!

Otherwise we have similar tastes cause we are going to CP for Breakfast and Dinner, 1900 Park fare, Ohana's, coral reef, boma and chef mickey's :rotfl: !!

We are looking for other options too!!

I can't get any good times that I want for LeCellier, so I was resigned to the fact last month = it's only 1 meal, I'll live.

I think I'll try for Tusker House breakfast. Are there any good breakfasts at DS or Epcot? We did dinner last spring at H&V and were not impressed AT ALL!!! I'm not too sure about the Princess breakfast at Epcot, maybe I'll check into that also.

Ya, we are eating at 2:50 at LeCellier because that is all I could get!! But we love it so we'll make it work.

The Princess breakfast at Epcot is OK as long as your kids are not pickey you'll be fine. Cape May is pretty good for breakfast and that is near Epcot at the Beach Club!!

I upgraded to Delux during bounceback for the exact same reason as you. When I started figuring in extra OOP breakfasts, snacks, mugs. I was pretty much spending the difference between DDP and DxDDP. My DH and DS are skinny but must have a hollow leg somewhere.

We're also going to HDDR, lunch at the Castle and Yachtsmanfor the first time.

Did you try getting LeCellier for lunch? I've heard they have nice lunch items. I've only been for dinner though. If you're looking for another Epcot restaurant, Chefs Du France has a nice kids menu. My DS is 8, so I know it can be tricky to find a kids menu that has more than Mac & cheese or a single hotdog. I haven't eaten there yet, but the food sounds good and gets decent reviews.

Also, I scheduled a Fantasmic package @ Brown Derby. I never would have wasted 2 TS credits on the regular DDP, but I figure it's worth it on the DxDDP. Hollywood & Vine was horrible, but I loved the package seating for fantasmic last year. It might be a good use of credits for you too.

Sounds like a fun trip!!

Now that you have made that decision to upgrade, it is a whole new world of availability!!! On the regular dining plan we had many more buffets on our schedule, but after upgrading we don't have very many(mostly breakfast times)

I would suggest trying some of the Signature locations for dinners, such as Narcoossees, California Grill, Jiko, Citricos, Flying Fish, Yachtman Steakhouse, Cinderellas Royal Table(just for the experience once)... maybe the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show.

We are eating at several of these for dinner, and eating big breakfast or early lunches, while using our snacks to tide us over for the rest of our day!

Good luck to you and hope you have a stress free and yummy trip!!

Maybe you would consider Boma for breakfast? I keep reading about the great reviews and I have all character breakfasts scheduled, but I am soo tempted to cancel Donalds and head to Boma...oh and its just me, DH and DS who will be 18 months...
Just a thought...but maybe not since you have boma for dinner? Anyway, good luck. What a relief it must be to have decided on the deluxe...I am debating everyday...I should just make the decision!!
