Hi All!
We just booked our first 4 night Disney Cruise. We will be sailing Sept. 22, 02'. To say the least we are very excited. There will be 3 adults and two kiddies...a five year old and 18 months. How did everyone like the deluxe family staterooms? DVC said we are booked in room 8528. Any other Disney family cruising info would be greatly appreciated too.
Thanks!

Cat. 4 is a nice room. I don't think you will feel crowded. We had 2 adults and 2 children on our last cruise in 8020 cat 4. You get some extra space at the end of the room compared to a Cat. 5. There is plenty of space in Cat. 4 for a crib also. The split bath comes in handy. You don't have to wait in line, LOL. :D
If you are using flounder's reef nursery for your baby, sign up ASAP. Your other child the 5 year old, will be with the 5-7 year olds. at the oceaneers club. My daughter is also 5 and we didn't see her hardly the whole cruise because she was so busy in the club.
You will have a great time on the cruise. Check out the 70's night at route 66. We had a blast there.:D :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy:

Hi...we stayed in Cat 4 on three of our five DCL cruises. They are my favorite category. We have three teens plus my hubby and I and we were always very comfortable. There is plenty of storage/closet space and as the poster mentioned above the split bath is wonderful.
Enjoy your cruise.

We were in #8028 in January 2002 and absolutely loved it. Not only is it larger but very convient to the elevators and pools. We had hardly any noise at all from above.
Our next cruise in Dec 2002, we have requested the same room.
Have fun!
