How do you keep your snacks from getting SMASHED??

We typically bring snacks (granola bars, snack cakes, etc.) into the parks. I have every kind of bag there is - but my snacks always seem to get crushed. I thought about packing them into a tupperware-type container - but don't really want the bulk of it. Any good tips on this?? how do you carry your snacks?

I try to bring things that aren't easily crushed, like nuts, granola bars, etc. That way, you don't have to worry about it.

I leave "smashable" items in the box, and cover them with a beach towel or clothes. The box get's smushed, but not the yummy stuff inside. Hope this helps.

what do you suggest to keep items like that from being smashed in a box? im sending food downand dont wanna open the box to squished stuff lol

We haven't had our Disney trip yet but I have some of these http://www.reusablebags.com/store/sigg-snack-boxes-aluminum-midi-small-p-230.html and we use them at the pool, zoo, picnics at the park etc. and they work great. They aren't heavy either. I use the small one just for a couple bars or a small banana. But the bigger size really holds LOTS! They are pricy but we have made our money back since DD won't eat her cereal bar after it gets smashed ;)

I would think that any kind of rectangular or square tupperware container would do the trick.

Have you seen the new storage containers that collapse? They are inexpensive and I have seen them at Walmart, so your stuff will be safe and then they fold flat and take up little room!

We send items to ourselves UPS. We pack items in the throwaway plastic containers in the box to be sent to ourselves.
The plastic containers keep items dry, uncrushed and do not attrack bugs.

Once the plastic containers are emptied - we can use them for storage, pack items in them to bring home in a suitcase, or toss them out.

You can mail a pkg to your self about a week before you arrive, if you use UPS.

Place your arrival date and name on the outside of the box (I do this on all sides of the box)

Address the box to:
Your Resort Name
WDW
Your resort address

Hold for: your name
Arrival date: MM/DD/YY
