Hi all. I need a little advice from all of you helpful people with regards to which tickets to buy as this is only our 2nd time to WDW and I don't want to over buy and not use them. We are 2 Adults, DS who is 5 and DD who is 1 and we will be staying on site for 14 nights.
The last time we went we did the Disney parks, 1 water park, SeaWorld and Busch Gardens. This time we want to do all of the Disney parks again, maybe a water park (but we do want to try Aquatica), Universal studios and IOA. I am also planning on a few days out to the beach and the Kennedy Space Centre so we will not be in a park everyday, if that makes a difference.
Any advice would be gratefully appreciated as we leave in 6 weeks and I need to buy the tickets ASAP. Thanks :)

Try the universal site for this 7 day US/IoA ticket.
It provides good flexibility for the adult price of $81 + tax, say £45
http://secure.universalstudios.com/webstore/shop/ViewItems.aspx?Merchant=UOMainOnline&CategoryGroupExternalID=UOMain&CategoryExternalID=UOTPTLive
Single day at AQ is $39 + tax say £20
http://aquaticabyseaworld.com/Site/Tickets/Visitors.aspx
so US/IoA and 1 day at AQ = £65
There is a Orlando flexticket which gives 14 days entry to US/IoA/SW/AQ and W+W but it costs £112 and you probably don't need it all.
For Disney I'd go for the 7 day premium Disney ticket, valid for 14 days.
7 Days unlimited admission & Park Hopping to:
Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
PLUS 7 Admissions in total to any of these Parks or attractions:
* Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, * Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Downtown Disney’s Pleasure Island, ** Disney’s Wide World of Sport Complex, *** DisneyQuest Indoor interactive Theme Park.
Best price about £152

Think that gives you decent flexibility with the 14 day period for Disney, 7 day period for US/IoA and a 1 day at AQ to fit around your days at the beach and KSC.

personally i think that is too many tickets.
If you are in the US for 14 days and want to go to the beach too then I assume you'll take out 3 days or so for that plus you will presumably be travelling the majority of your first day and so really only have 13 full days.
That means you need tickets for 10 days or so.
I'd get the US/IOA 2 day ticket with a 3rd day free - £58 per adult. The the 2 days seaworld/aquatica pass is £48. Both of these tickets are valid from their first day of use for 7 days.
For Disney I think you need to decide whether you will spend part days in the parks or if you will spend a whole day at either US/IOA or Disney rather than spend 2 ticket days on a single calendar day and then buy your Disney pass accordinly.

Although we have Annual Passes for Universal I agree with Susie, a 2 day pass for US/IOA if you are doing ALL the Disney parks is probably a better option.
We try and get the most out of our tickets, if for example like we are at the moment planning on going twice within a 12 month period for Universal we get an Annual Pass.
For Disney we have had 10 day Magic Your Way passes that have lasted us 2 holidays so far with 2 days still remaining.
Just another example of many different ways of doing things, we don't visit the parks excessively on any one holiday so for us tickets that never expire are best.
If you know you will return it makes sense to me to buy these type, naturally with the expense of the holiday and perhaps wanting to visit other places too it's not always easy to know that.

Not sure why you would pay more for the three day pass than a 7 day one for US/IoA :confused3
I assumed 1 day at US, 1 at IoA, 1 at AQ leaving as you say seven days, hence the 7 day disney Pass with the 14 day validity for full flexibility.
I read the post as Disney parks plus AQ/US/IoA.
If a seaworld option is required then the Seaworld site is best at present, $80 + tax for AQ + SW.

Thank-you for the replies so far. There really are so many different options. I think I need to sit down this evening and make a decision looking at all of the options mentioned. Thanks :thumbsup2

I agree with Jakey, the 7 day pass is much better value even if you are only going to spend 1 day at each park. I just purchased mine a few days ago and it cost us £44.30 each. :thumbsup2

Please could anyone tell me if they have recently ordered any tickets direct from universal (as above) and if so how long they took to arrive. I like the suggestion but worried that I have left it a late too buy from a US company. Thanks

We ordered our Annual Passes direct from Universal, they do not actually post them , you collect them 'electronically' from one of the ticket booths outside the park - you do not necessarily have to get them posted.
