Has anyone ever had lunch here? At Seaside Bar & Grill, I believe. How is it? What do they serve? Is it worth it or should we head back to the boat?

Only 8 more days for us!!!!!!!! :)

i thought blue lagoon beach day was a fabulous excursion in aug1999 when we went on the 4day cruise. the food was aweful but i still wouldn't head back to the ship to eat. don't waste any of the few valuable hours you have on blue lagoon by going back to the boat to eat. the kids food was better than the adults. either way, it is edible, just poor quality. try taking a bagel, fruit or something that won't spoil from breakfast and eating it on the island if you don't like the lunch. but stay as long as you can, it's a beautiful place! then pig-out when you get back on the boat!

I agree on the Blue Lagoon lunch. We didn't even try it. The second time we went, we took sandwiches and chips from the ship. Don't waste valuable time going back for lunch. Blue Lagoon was awesome.

I think that we will order some sandwiches and such from room service the night before, keep it in the cooler, and bring it with us to Blue Lagoon. After paying over $100 for the 4 of us to go, there is no way I am heading back to the ship until the day is done!! -Doulasue

The lunch included with the Blue Lagoon trip was terrible. They do offer additional food for sale. The only problem with going back to the boat is you have to take a boat to get back to the boat. I believe the boats leave Blue Lagoon at 1:00 and 3:00. We took the 1:00 boat back and were planning on stopping at The Atlantis (the boat makes this stop) but it was raining so hard and we were freezing. We went back to the Wonder and had burgers, chicken, french fries (the best) and pizza - along with hot tea and coffee.

Enjoy your cruise.

We always order room service and bring plastic bags from home with collapsable cooler. Sandwiches come with chips and we order cake or cookies to go along with. Take fruit from morning breakfast. and sodas from your frig or cooler. The food on land is terrible and expensive. We do this at Atlantis too. There are lots of places to have lunch beside the beach area.
