I wasn't sure where to put this so I hope this works. I was wondering about the fairy tale or story that Belle is talking/singing about in "Belle". Not the Jack and the Beanstalk in the beginning. But the book that she is given by the bookseller to keep. She talks about "daring sword fights, magic spells, a prince in disguise" in the bookshop and then at the fountain she is reading and the sheep rips out the page. That story. Does anyone know what it is? It feels very familiar to me and I know I am going to smack my forehead once I know what it is. It's just driving me nuts trying to figure it out!

Oh...I always thought that it was forshadowing for the rest of the movie. Like she was reading..Beauty and the Beast....but I could be wrong:confused3 ...Maybe someone else knows for sure...:confused3

That's what I always thought too. Like her life actualy turns into the fairy tale she is reading about.

What about the part where she talks about daring sword fights? But I see how it could be foreshadowing. That would be why the story is familiar...

I believe it is a foreshadow, to go to the music they add the daring sword fights, also keeps the energy, adds the climax

Also thought it was foreshadowing the end of the movie.

Do you mean Mrs. Potts and Chip could not defend themselves? Who said this blasphemy? Next, someone will claim that Cinderella doesn't really live in the castle, or even worse that Mickey and Minnie and friends are just people in costumes !! :scared1:  I choose to "believe" in the magic, myself. :woohoo:  :dance3:
