AAA, WL and free dining (??)

Ok I just put a package with AAA at WL (woods view w/Bunk) from Sept 14 - 20. From reading a previouse post, it seems like getting WL with free dining is difficult. AAA will not open until 10:00.

My question would it be best for me to call and book with disney directly and than transfer to AAA or should I let my AAA T.A. (who is still kindof wet behind the ears) proceed to it.

This is our first trip to a Deluxe resort, normal stay at a value.

So I really want to be a WL.

There is a phone number for AAA travel through their website. I would think you could do it early that way. Just make sure you get free dining.

If you have Disney Visa you may want to go that route and book your package; because, you get about 3 days before the free dining package is offered to the public. I don't think you can go to AAA with your Visa three days early, but you can ask.

If you lack confidence in your TA at AAA there is always a supervisor that can help moreso.

You make it sound like you already booked your package through AAA; so, you may have to stick with them to get the add-on change for free dining.

Well, your bigger issue that a lot of AAA agents don't (A)know this or (B) won't be bothered to do it.

I guess that can be true for any travel agent, but fortunately for me, I have an Disney approved AAA agent and have already talked to her, so she's not bombarded next week. She said she'd email me immediately whether I can get a discount on the deluxe or not, so I'm not too worried, we're going to stay at the WL, not changing and keeping the Dxddp, just hoping for a discount.
