Free dining with DVC rental?

Can you get free dining if you rent DVC points? If so, how does it work? Also, if FD is offered for only part of your stay, would you still be able to get it for the days that it's available?

I highly doubt it since the point of offering free dining is to fill the Disney resorts at rack rate. I could be wrong, but it just doesn't sound likely to me.

I'm pretty sure that it has only been offered with MYW+dining packages in the past.

No. DVC members and guests don't get free dinning.

No you can not. We rented points before during free dining and had to pay for the dining plan. We did a split stay at a value so we could save some money and still get free dining for the first few days.

This year you can not get a promotion for the duration of your stay unless your entire trip falls during the promotion. Everything is based on a day by day basis.
