Wake Up Calls - Disney hotels only?

Hi - probably a stupid question, but is there any chance of getting a Disney wakeup call at say the explorers or dream castle or is it just available at the big six?

We booked wake up calls in Sequoia Lodge, and I was expecting to hear Goofy or some other character, but it was just the receptionist, which was a little disappointing.

The wake up call is also available at DCR. But as you suspect only at Disney hotels :)

That's disappointing - when we were there in Feb it was definitely Goofy. Did you book it at Reception or dial it in on the phone?

I've tried the dial one in the hotel room phone at the Santa Fe - didn't get Goofy, just a female voice.

Strange we've always had Goofy, I do hope they haven't changed it. I shall miss Goofy's
"Sorry to bother you folks, but you've got a busy day ahead.............." sets me up for the day. :)
