I'm wanting to make some Maypole centerpieces for my Sr. Center ... I basically know what a maypole is, and have "goggled" it too. The directions they give are of course for a real maypole. I also checked in the Family Fun site..and they didn't have anything either.
Mine needs to be smaller for a table...does anyone have any ideas how I can make these???
I thought I could use those little baskets (about 3") from the craft store..put in some little flowers and glue the basket on top of a paper towel roll or something. I'd put the ribbons under the basket. and then base it onto a decorated base.
What do you think? Do you have any other suggestions or ideas? It needs to be "budget", because I'm not reimbursed..and need to make 10. I would love to hear from anyone who has any suggestions!! I also posted on the budget board...I need ALL the help I can get. :laughing:
