As We Are Staying In Disney We Have Opted Not To Have The Hire Car, Virgin Offered Free Tansfers From And Back To The Airport, Is This The Magical Express, How Efficient Is This Service, Would It Be Better And Quicker To Organise A Taxi Transfer Myself. Your Opinions Would Really Be Appreciated.

We used virgin transfers last year and it mears however was not magical express. The bus driver has a list of names so you may have to wait for people to turn up, they drop of at more than one resort too.

We have used the transfers several times and they have always been fine. They have only ever dropped off at a couple of other Disney hotels and it hasn't taken long. :goodvibes

have been looking on some web sights and found they will do a round trip transfer for 100 dollars, with a 30 min grocery stop, dh thinks this is the way to go, still got 5 months to go will ponder on this one.

thanks for the advice

if you want to stock up on beers, cokes and crisps,a towncar that provides a grocery stop is great.there is no waiting around and you go straight to hotel(after grocery stop)With virgins transfer you might be taken to 2- 3 hotels before yours

We used the free Virgin shuttle bus last summer and we were very surprised to find out that it was the Magical Express run by Mears. Admittedly we were staying on-site but the service was lovely.:grouphug:
Once we got out of the airport the bus was waiting to the right hand side of the door. The driver let us stow away our bags after checking we were on his list and our hotel name. We sat waiting for a few other families in a lovely air conditioned bus and he put a dvd on for the kids to watch while we waited and also during the journey. Couldn't fault the service on the way back either, excellent service and the staff were really friendly.

We also used the free Virgin transfer last year. After collecting the luggage we were put on a minibus with one other family and dropped at CSR. I didn't see any transport with more than three families in it.

We used Virgin TRransfers large year and it was DME and it was fine. We used Virgin transfers year before and although that was Mears not DME and again that as fine (DME is run by Mears anyway).

On the return we choose to use A cab arther than fre etransfer just for the flexibility; had been advised DME picks up early.
