Here are some pics from US/IOA. The first on I think is the best pic of all we took. If you get down to the pic with Beetlejuice, notice his hand. He's blocking Mickey's hat on my shirt. He said Management at US told him to do that.

Great pictures...

I loved Universal/IOA.. (dare I even say, more FUN than Disney..***DUCKING***)

I hadn't been to Universal since 1985! (Hollywood)
IOA was outstanding.

Your pictures are fabulous, you really see how wet you get on Dudley... it doesn't look too crowded either.

Thanks for more great pictures!

Trying to talk DW into going on our trip in October.

She thinks there won't be enough to keep our 3 1/2 yo DD entertained.

I think it's really the extra ticket money!

I hate to say I agree with your DW. IOA has very little for little ones IMHO. For that matter neither does US. We spent one day there and did both parks. IOA is for the tweeners like my DS and his friend. (15,16) If you go, go with a low of what you will get.

Thanks for the explanation. I "got" it after my last post. as fr as DS's friend. He's an only so company is good and it may have been a bit selfish on my and DW's part after an adults only trip last October.

And by the way, US/IOA was done under duress!!!:o  :D

Well, admittedly without duress but with plenty of nervousness, I plan to go to Universal next year. DS will be 10 and has really been pining to go. I guess that I'm ready to check it out too. :)

Thanks for posting the pictures. It does look super IMO.

EXCELLENT pictures, Mitch. Love them all and especially the water ones. I do enjoy USF/IoA and have AP's for this and next year. I always enjoy at least a day there every trip. They are excellent parks.

Great pics Mitch. I, too, was a WDW-only type person until my kids got a little older. Now, we all love going to USF/IOA and look forward to going there more than WDW. My last biz trip, I only had one day to do the parks and chose IOA/USF over WDW. The kids (DD, 12, and DS, 10) are already bugging me for a long-weekend trip to HRH now that we finally have a discount airline flying out of here. Hope to do this in Oct. or Nov.

Thanks for all the pictures, they came outFANTASTIC. I can't remeber to much of US so those pictures confirmed for me that I did the right thing by going there for at least a day.:)

Yeah! That first picture is great! :) DS and I just love Dudley Do Right! ;) :Pinkbounc However, when we returned home I had an ear infection and ended up at the doctor's with it. I'm thinking it was that filthy water. DS and I would get off and then get right back on again. For about an hour each day. :p

What do you mean by 'other place'? Until Disney offers affordable season passes without blackout dates, Universal and Sea World/Busch Gardens are the primary places to go with Disney being the 'other place'.
