I guess we'll just have to pick a mid-way communal point. I'm doing an earlier DISmeet next week at EPCOT.

Seems like Sunday I'll be staying around the SSR/DTD area. (Dad wants to have lunch at Olivia's and explore OKW again.) Monday is an MGM evening EMH so I tentatively scheduled night time there. Only other things on my calendar for the week is dinner at Yak & Yeti Wednesday (gotta check out the place and it's AK EMH that night), EPCOT EMH Friday and LeCellier for lunch Saturday. Other than that, I'm very flexible that week.

What makes a good meeting point? How's everyone else scheduling their weeks so far?

I have dinner ressies at Yak & Yeti Wednesday late afternoon (5pm).

I was thinking Monday or Tuesday would be a good day. I know I'll be at MGM Monday. I have dinner ressies at 50's Primetime. (Love the fried chicken.)

FWIW, I'm counting 4 of us at BWV, 3 at AKV, 3 at SSR and 1 at OKW. Did I miss anyone? (SSR folks I hope you say hi to me at the pool. I expect to be hanging out at HRS, probably dipping into the hot tub with their pool lift. Look for an old guy with a grey mohawk haircut. He's my dad and fairly harmless.)

I don't think you can buy the gold ears at WDW anymore, but they ARE available on ebay.

In my experience Boardwalk only makes a good central point if you're staying in the area or planning to visit the nearby parks that day and can leave. I always hated that there was no direct bus service to Boardwalk from the resorts.

I know Wednesday will see me at Animal Kingdom so Welcome Home Wednesdays at Atlantic Dance Hall is unlikely.

Anybody have another suggestion where makes a good place to do a meet?

We're going to try the western route this time, I'm fed up with the northern part of 95 myself along with the Garden State Parkway/NJ Turnpike. I'm going 84 to 81 to 66 to 17 then to 95 below the Mason-Dixon line. How about you?

This will be my first welcome home event. I would keep your dinner reservation. I don't think the event is all that. You would have plenty of time to stay there for 45-1 hr. and still make your dinner. Hope to see you there!:goodvibes

:goodvibes 4-19 thru 4-26 @ OKW. Quiet vacation though, P&PP on Wednesday and Epcot for one day. The rest of the time pool, Ramona :worship: and kids crafts, along with a little Red Lobster thrown in :lovestruc (ok maybe ALOT of Red Lobster) ;)
