grocery store near ssr

can anyone give me an idea of the nearest store near ssr? i am planning on spending 4th of july week there?

Don't to to Gooding's at the Crossroads--poor selection and VERY expensive.

I generally go to Winn-Dixie--turn left onto 535 (by The Crossroads). It's about a mile or less on your right in a strip mall adjacent to ABC Liquors.

There's alse Publix, behind the Premium Outlets. Turn right on 535, go under I-4 and take the next left. You pass Mary Queen of the Universe, the Premium Outlets, what was Dixie Stampede and an Outback Steakhouse. Publix is in a strip mall on your left.

W-D is closer, but its specials require a discount card; Publix is farther, but no card required.

We like Publix and its good to combine with a trip to PO or Outback Steakhouse :)

We always stop at the Super Target. Never had any issues, probably because we haven't found any of the other stores yet. ;) Right off the highway. Exit 10/11? ..

If you have any interest in having groceries delivered, we recently used gardengrocer.com....placed the order on line with credit card, they delivered to bell services, who kept cold items cold/frozen items frozen and the delivery charge was only about 10 dollars if I remember correctly. I figured I couldn't hire a taxi for that price. Plus, it saved so much time! I called bell services once we were settled in our room and they promptly delivered our groceries!

Second Publix - love the store! Don't know about cab fare as we always rent a car during our stays. You may want to check the cost to rent a car, just for grins. I'm told the inventory of rental cars at Orlando is the largest in the country, so the rates tend to be low comparatively. Personally I love the freedom of being able to go wherever whenever...

Does Publix sell, (or is there a store near by) wine or liquor?

The Publix and W-D sell beer and wine.

The W-D is by an ABC Liquors, so you can buy anything else there.
