We're thinking about a family suite in ASMu. and there will be 6 of us. What's a good daily tip?? I don't want to be unappreciative and cheap :guilty:

We usually tip $1 for each person staying in the room.

I have read several amounts here on the forum that are any where from $2 to $5 a day. On one post one said $1 per person in the room.
We'll be staying at POR and the amount we have decided on is $5 a day.
Hope this helps and gives you some ideas.;)

When I go solo, I tip $1-2 per day. When I go with family, we usually tip $1 per person, so it's about $6 per day.

I already have my envelopes ready and there is $5.00 in each envelope. There are 5 of us so I went with the $1.00 a person rule.

I loved the idea of printing up envelopes and filling them before we go! A nice way to budget in the extra $$. I've already got envelopes going for BBB, and I'm saving quarters and pennies off and on for the penny pressing machines. So the tip envelopes will be nice to add to before we go, too!!

We do $5 dollar a day for the five of us.
Thanks Happyathome! I love the idea of saving change for the penny press and putting it towards the tip! I'm going to start and see how much I get for our trip in June.

This is new to me - so do you just put money in an envelope and put "mousekeeping" on it? Or else how do they know to take it? Probably been asked before, but I am still pretty new. THANKS:)

That's what I did, envelopes that say Mousekeeping and then a saying in spanish that it's for housekeeping. We did $5 a day for 2 of us. The tip was picked up every day except one day.

I also make my envelopes before I leave. I noticed that we got much better towel animals on the days I left $5 (there are 3 of us) instead of $3 :lmao:

I printed them out on the computer and they say " A Little Something for our Mousekeeper from the XXXXX family" I decorated them with Disney Stickers and I put it by the bathroom mirror so they can see it. We got great towel animals and such just about every day.
