This may be a silly question, but I'm confused about the iron on "transfer paper." I went to Joanne's Fabrics to try to find the iron ons, and the woman told me to buy iron on fabric that you run through the printer. It actually feels like some type of cotton. Is this the wrong stuff? I went on the hp website that some people have suggested, but it doesn't say anything about the material that the "transfer paper" is made from. Is it actually paper? Does anyone know which works better or lasts longer?

Also, can you iron on to microfiber?? I bought some great bags for $1.49 that seem perfect for an iron on and autographs, but I'm not sure whether or not an iron on would adhere.

Any help would be really appreciated, as I've never done this creative stuff before!! :worship:

Well, I don't believe that you can iron on microfiber. Also, iron on fabric is not the same as the iron on transfer. With the transfer, you either iron on and peel the front off(light fabric) or peel the back off and iron on the design(dark transfers). Iron on fabric is great if someone is making a quilt and have different people doing the squares, but I wouldn't use it for a t-shirt. Did I confuse you or help??
