What, if anything, can you rumor experts tell me about the release date and the location of the premier.

I am seeing 2009 and 2011.

I would love for this premier to be in WDW:cool1:

Any information or links would be greatly appreciated.

No, nothing is even close to official.....Everything is rumor and speculation at this point.

True that it is mainly speculation. But it's just way too obvious. I mean, the end of At World's End did everything but scream sequel!

Everything does SCREAM sequel. I would love to see this happen too!

But, Depp is tied up for some time with other projects. He has Rum Diaries, Public Enemies (which he is currently filming), Shantaram, and Heath Ledger's Final Project Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. And possibly Sin City 3 which he is rumored to be in talks on.

I bet they let it go until after 2010. I would like to see some breath between them. Also, if they let it go for a few years, there is a whole new wave of young kids to ensnare, at least from a studio perspective.

A friend of mine is working on a movie with Jerry Bruckheimer and Jerry told him that yes he will do another pirates movie but as stated above, Johnny Depp is very busy so he is not sure when they will actually begin filming but the script is in the works.

Considering that the last 3 premiered at DL, I wish this one would premiere at WDW. We would arrange to be there, even just for the weekend!

Okay... first of all I apologize for any misleading information.

Friends pointed me in the direction of Youtube :eek: (I know, I know...not the most reliable). That's why I came here. If you search the "title" you'll see opening dates on youtube. I now cringe. :headache:

I in no way shape or form intended to cause any upset or trouble.

I don't think you caused any trouble at all. That's kinda what these boards are about. Granted you can't inflect virtually, but I was just letting you know it probably wouldn't be 2009 or even 2010 b/c of Johnny Depp's schedule.

I also read here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0458481/ where it says that Johnny Depp as well as Antonio Banderas are rumored to be cast in Sin City 2.
