I posted this question before, but I would like to see it in poll form.
Will you still go in Sept if FD is NOT offered?
As for my family, we will NOT go w/out FD! We'll wait until 2009.:sad1:

I posted no, we wont go unless we get free dining.
But, just to qualify, we should not be going this year, we just did a Disney cruise. I think I can convince dh to do WDW late august if the free dining comes out :rolleyes1 . If it dosen't, then I am outta luck (but dont feel bad for me, the disney cruise was great!)

We are going even if free dining is not offered....I already have our plane tickets and plus we got the 40% code but since we are staying at a mod the free dining would be a better deal for us.

Going but did the bounceback when we were there this past September 2007 but if I wanted to go to Disney I would go if no free dining :)

I wanted to clarify my vote...
I said yes, but we will be going for a much shorter time without free dining. Sadly.

Said no, but if I get a code in the mail, I may reconsider.

Yes, we are going with or without free dining (already have our plane tickets). If free dining is not offered or excludes our dates (Aug. 11-16), I am at least really hoping for a discount. I know a discount came out in late June 2007 for August 2007. Does anyone know what kind of percentage off the room rates were offered? Thanks!

I might switch resorts but I'm definitely going. I need a vacation!

We got the free dining bounceback while there last September.
However, had we not, we would go one way or other--with or without free dining--because Disney is where we want to celebrate our 25th anniversary.

We had actually already planned our trip for September, but had not booked it yet. I just found out about the free dining today! We were going to buy the dining plan, but I am so excited to hear about this! We will go either way though.

We have everything booked, plane tickets bought, and the money in the bank (including for the dining plan). Free dining would be nice, but since our trip starts on August 24, it's iffy. We're going no matter what!

NO or yes?! We went last September for free dining and thought the weather was horrible. Yes, we will be going back to Disney. We love Disney but would rather pay a higher price for better weather. We are thinking February 2009. No, we will never go back for free dining in August or September again. Personally, I am not sure Disney could offer me a good enough discount to get me back that time of year.

We'll still go, but we'll stay offsite and eat offsite. Take snacks into the parks and only do a couple of TS meals.

Yes we are going no matter what!
Free dining is a nice perk, but when we were planning this trip, free dining was not even a thought in our mind. We were just looking for a good week to go.

I voted that we are going even if there is no free dining but what should be included in the poll is whether you will stay on site without the free dining or not.
My family will not be onsite without it but will still go to Disney parks for the same amount of time.

We won't stay onsite if they don't offer Free Dining and we'll split our park time between WDW and Universal.

No, we are not going if there is not free dining for my dates. As Universal is offering free dining, we will be going there instead as the teenagers have been begging to go there. I really don't have a good excuse not to take them now.

YES!! We are going with or without FD. I have my trip booked and got a 40% off code. I do however wonder if FD is offered which is the better, only time will tell. I can't Wait :cool1:

We're still going, staying onsite, in a deluxe for 16 nights. I'm hoping for an AP rate, but it won't really change our plans. I expect our dates to be too early for free dining but if we can get it for the last 7 nights we'll add it.

No. We will only deal with the awful heat and humidity of Sept. if free dining is offered. Otherwise we will book in late Jan/early Feb. If I am going to pay for dining I want the weather to be more enjoyable as well!

Where is everyone seeing the info about Universal offering free dining? I went on their websight and could not find anything.:confused3

I am still going...but I am not going to get free dining anyway since my discounted rate at the BCV trumps what I would save with free dining.

YES! DSIS and I will still be going in Sept. We got a AAA discount of 20% off the room only rate, and we intend to buy AP's for our Sept. trip (and maybe get a better discount for AP). We also got our plane tickets already at excellent prices. We did the free dining in 2006, but honestly, it was too much food for us and we felt we were working around our ADR's. We really like to be spontaneous. We have three ADR's booked for our 10-day trip, but for the rest we'll use counter service or even a light snack, which works so much better and is so much more economical for two 50-something ladies.
