Yes, there is one near the Crossroads shopping center at the edge of the Downtown Disney hotels. If you are coming from DD and get to that intersection, you make a left and it is not even a mile up the road. I think it was called Florida MedHealth or something like that.

We were pretty sure our son had an ear infection so we called the front desk to ask them where to go. They said the doctor could come to our room so we just did that. He was from that walk-in clinic.

We have used the clinic twice. I picked up a bug one year and needed antibiotics. Another time my husband had an atrocious ear infection that needed attention. Worked out great for us. I think the name is Centra Care. Not that far from the Disney Crossroads. And they will take your insurance if you have it.

If you are staying at a Disney resort and you get ill. The resorts have a doctor on call and they will come to your room.

We used both the in room doctor and the centra care by crossroads on our trip last april. I waited for 2+ hours at the clinic for myself. The next day my daughter needed to be seen so we called for the in room doctor who happened to work for centra care and they were at our hotel within one hour and done in 15 minutes. He even had medicine with him. The charge was higher and insurance usually won't cover that portion of the bill. If i remember correctly the clinic charge was 98.00 and the in room care was 140.00 but it was a small price to pay for the simplicity of it.

Centracare also will provide transportation to the clinic which helped us alot 3 years ago with my baby. We just returned from a trip and thought we were going to have to go this time too but for me. Luckily it turned out we didn't have too.

We are from Canada and buy extra travel and medical insurance ~ if we need a doctor, I hope our insurance covers a portion of the house call. We all got sick in 1998 at WDW for a day, but we just let the illness take it's course and we all were better the next day. Sandra

My son got strep throat there our last stay and we used the Centra clinic. They did a great job and we had no wait time at all(must have been a slow time). The great thing is that they have a pharmacy right in the clinic so you don't have to make an extra trip. You can also get a free shuttle from a resort hotel if you need it.Our insurance reimbursed us for all of the visit(minus co-pay) and for the medicine. If you do not have a lot of extra cash, don't worry...they take every kind of plastic out there :D
