Can you pack a can of shaving gel in your check-in luggage? I'm concerned that it might explode on the plane and cause just a bit of a problem. :lmao:

Never had a problem with shaving gel ( or any other aerosol cans) but if you are worried about it "exploding" all over your suitcase just pack it in a ziploc bag and put it in a cosmetic bag. Then at least it is contained.

I know Virgin used to say no pressurised canisters in Hand Luggage they had to go in the hold. I dont think youll have any problem as the pressue doesn't change in the hold (Im sure I read its kept constant as is the temperature but might be mistaken)

We've even taking shaving gel in our carry-on (the small sized of course) and never had any issues.

Agree, if you are concerned about your checked bags - put any lotions, liquids, etc in ziplock bags "just in case."

Always pack my toiletries in ziplock bags and place in a cosmetic bag. that way I know that if something does happen, everything is protected.
