We arrive in Orlando this Saturday:banana: There are 6 of us, so it made more sense to go with a condo on this visit. However, I'm planning a visit with just my son in October, and would love to stay on-site. Since the parks are closing early next week, I thought we'd fill one of our evenings with visiting the hotels. Can we just drive to them? What about parking? I'm sorry if these questions seem silly, but I have never been there and don't know the layout. Thanks.

You absolutely can go visit the hotels.

However, I would just take the boat over after the park closes instead of trying to drive to them.

That's a great idea. If we leave our car at the park and take the boat over, I'm guessing that we'll want to do that before the park closes so we can get back to our car. Or do the boats keep running later because of City Walk? Where do we catch the boat, and will they let us on even if we aren't hotel guests?
Thanks.

The boats run until 2:15 am. The City Walk clubs are open until 2am, so the boats keep running.

You catch the boats right in the middle of City Walk. There are three lines, all well marked. The line on the IOA side is the RPR boat, the line in the middle is the HRH boat and the line on the Universal side is the PBH boat.

They should always let you on the boats even if you are not guests. The hotels have many restaurants, bars and shops, so many non-guests ride the boats all the time.

Thank you so much.
