Hoping to make the first meet at 3 on Saturday. Good idea for a cocktail on the first at-sea day too!

As I've mentioned before to new subscribers, we are all meeting Saturday on deck 10 starboard at 3pm to have our first meeting on board. We should also try to get together mid-trip. Maybe on the first day at sea we could meet to do a DIS photo (secret deck on 7?) and a cocktail. Bob - it's five o'clock somewhere!
:scared1: And I thought there would be no drinkers on this cruise.
And me having to be good this time.:sad1:
Group photo sounds good.:thumbsup2

Can we all sign in with our specifics so that we can compile a list? I will try to keep up with it and periodically post a list for people. We can do a DisMeet if anyone's interested, too.
O.K., in our cabin, number 2610, we have me(old), Lee(forever young), and the two kids Payton 13 and Paige 9.
I think we have everything all ready to go now.
After talking with AKL, I believe we will get the room we wanted.
Found out that our transportation doesn't leave until noon, so we won't get onboard until about 2, so no Parrot Cay buffet.

Since there is another cruise between ours and the current cruise, hopefully they will have it fixed. What do you think? Can stabilizer parts be overnighted?

I had the same concern about the stabilizers. The thread makes it sound as though they will fix the stabilizer when the ship is in port this coming Saturday. The live post made it sound as though there was no problem, although obviously that's in part because it seems as though the weather has been great. I bet we'll know if it's fixed by the end of this weekend.

I'm totally stoked!! This is my 6th Cruise. I'm 20 and I'm wondering if there's any other people round about that age going this week. I always seem to have trouble finding people to talk to outside of the family and meeting people is so fun. I'd like to meet some people on board. It's going to be an epic blast either way.:cool1:

Hello everyone, and welcome Kronk!
How is everyone feeling? Better, I hope. Sniffles, coughing and sore throat have disappeared here, yay.
BobandLee, I love your graphics too, but they make me nervous, lol. 8 days! Yikes! I am nowhere near ready, or even done shopping yet. Also I have yearbook photography to finish for my DD's school, a yardsale to organize, and 500 kids to order soccer uniforms for, so you'll all be able to recognize me - I'll be the one with big patches of my hair missing.
Can't wait until next week at this time when we will be near or at the Radisson and our all this stuff will be done!

Boband Lee, Thanks for your countdown graphics! I really look forward to them each day!
I have become a major germ freak. I am dertermined to keep my kids well for the cruise. I actually asked my MIL when the last time she washed her hands was before I'd let her unwrap a straw for my son!
I hope everone is feeling better! This is the last weekend to prepare.
I am getting SO excited!!

Hi to all,
Sorry so long in posting (I just saw your post today MelissaE)- our house, too, was visited by the strep fairy the last 2 weeks. In this day and age of resistant organisms, our pediatrician decided not to treat the whole family. What this means is all 4 of us came down with it one by one and needed 4 separate doctor's visits.:headache: Oh yes - and the all important monitoring of the 15 year old to make sure she actually TAKES her antibiotic each day instead of stopping it as soon as Mom goes to work for a few nights in a row. ARGHH!!!!
My 7 year old had the worst of it with 105 degree fevers all weekend and ended up on a different antibiotic. Thankfully, all were just barely fever free by Tuesday morning to get medicated and chased out of the house for the all important Florida FCAT's. It should be interesting to see the scores this year!:scared: Why they pick to give these tests at the height of cold and flu season is beyond me!!
Of course, my husband was the last to come down with it and saw his doctor today who said "OH! We always treat the entire household so you just don't keep passing it around!" :scared1: Why couldn't he have gotten sick first?!
I hope you all are faring better - I'm finally into panic mode now trying to get organized after losing the last two weeks to the strep fairy. (Next time she comes around I'm getting a really big flyswatter to go with the giant size can of Lysol!!!)
We are a family of 4 in cabins 1071 and 1073. DD is 15 and DS is 7.
I am so ready for this cruise, but I am so way behind right now. I hope to have time for magnet making - who knows???
I wish I could spend a week on Castaway Cay right now - 8 days and counting. Let me add my thanks to BobandLee for the graphics.

Should be a nice weather day here in the heartland.

LOVE the daily posts, Bob and Lee!
Denise, I have already told Charlotte to look for Sarah. Got a big grin out of her!:goodvibes
Everybody needs to get or stay healthy! The weather forecast in the northeast looks like it's finally turning a corner, and the preliminary weather report for Port Canaveral is good for Friday and Saturday! One more week to push through. Hoping to be at least 75% packed before I go to work Monday morning.

I have finally beaten the Flu fairy at her game, but still ended up in the emergency room last night. DD's best friend took the top of her finger off in the bathroom door of the restaurant we had dinner in last night.
She was heading to Disneyland on Wednesday (family lives out there) but instead she will be having surgery! All I can say "Friday the 13th".
Up all night but still heading out to the airport in a few hours to start our two week vacation. I threw everything I own into a bag this morning and will be heading off to Naples, FL for a few days with my parents. Whatever I forgot, I'll buy down there.
Any news on the stabilizer issue?

The refrigerator magnets say "7 days to go". I'd post a picture, but don't have attachment previledges, yet.
Started packing today, getting the kids to try on summer clothes, etc. We're scrambling about like everyone else: school musical tonight, and tomorrow, deliver last of girl scout cookies, orchestra concert Tuesday night. We fly down Thursday afternoon after school, stay with my mom in Sarasota for a couple nights, before driving to the port on Saturday morning.
I'm checking through my travel folder for everything: passports, excursion reservations, rental car, airline, cruise docs, etc. Hope I have everything.
It will be me Ron(45), DW Patty(north of 40), DD Kelly(13), DD Lindsey(9). We're in 7014...but keep looking at DCL site in case of an upgrade. :) We're using our 25th anniversary this July as an excuse for this trip.
Looking forward to a great week!

Haven't packed a thing but are so mentally ready for this cruise. Besides my bday we get to celebrate that DD Melissa (17) passed her ground school test today for her pilots license on her first try. Glad that is behind her - she was a nervous wreck. Weather is pretty nice here today - Mike is going to do some grilling tomorrow. As Mickey would say "see ya real soon....."

Kathy, that is awesome for Melissa! Congratulations to her!
Did you guys read that post where the girl couldn't find her DD's birth certificate last night but was cruising Sunday? Scared me so bad I had to recheck the folder where I have all that stashed again.
Oh yeah, we will be in 8082...

I did read about the woman who couldn't find her son's birth certificate. She sounded on the verge of a nervous breakdown. I felt terrible for her, but I also thought the outpouring of suggestions and advice and help from the disboard was incredible. And it ended so well too. I'm not missing something in thinking that so long as we all have passports, I don't have to worry about birth certificates, am I?
Magicron, is your daughter Kelly planning to hang out in Ocean's Quest? Samantha is, especially at night. Hopefully they can get to know each other.
Melissa, happy belated! If it makes you feel better, I'm turning 44 this coming Wednesday (the 18th).

03-14-2009, 05:34 PM
Cindy, thank you, and happy upcoming birthday to you! No, you do not need birth certificates if you have passports. Although DH and I do, my kids do not, so it's birth certificates for them. We'll be getting them passports before we cruise again, though.
For anyone interested, I called DCL (and waited 20 minutes, what's up with that?) and got the list of current movies on the Magic. He said it was updated on the 6th.
Current movies:
Wall-E
Swing Vote
Beverly Hills Chihuahua
High School Musical III
Bolt in Disney 3D
Hannah Montana, also in 3D
Bedtime Stories
Jonas Brothers
Confessions of a Shopaholic
Race to Witch Mountain (started today)

I'm sure Kelly will spend some time in OQ. After the show, sounds like a good idea. We haven't done this before, so am not sure how everyone will adjust to club time, family time, pool time, etc.

This is our first 7-night. Other cruise was a 3 night. So we're really not sure how having all that extra time will work. We haven't planned any early excursions though, and the girls are several years older than they were the last time we cruised, so I think it's a safe bet that they will want to stay up late and sleeep in. I don't anticipate a lot of club time during the day, especially on port days, and I hope we get some quality family time then and during the earlier part of the evening. But as DH and I are interested in spending some time alone together, we're also hoping that the nightly party in Ocean's Quest appeals to both DDs.

I keep saying "this time next week, we'll be doing ____". My aunt just flew in from California tonight so that we could fly to Orlando all together and the trip is slowly starting to become a reality!
We'll be in 2019 and 2103. We hope to make it to the meet! It's our 2nd Disney Cruise, but our first 7 day. We are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited about having enough time onboard to watch movies! And order room service! I didn't know about DISboards until this past January; I know that all the extras I've learned about will make this trip even more incredible. Thank you all for your guidance!

Good morning everyone! Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Great Graphic, BobandLee.
How is everyone's packing coming together? I will be finishing up the yearbook pics for DD's school and the soccer uniform order today, then I can start really concentrating on getting everything into suitcases and handling any details I might have missed.
Went shopping yesterday and found a couple of things that create coordinating outfits for our lifestyle pic (the only family pics we ever get) and got my photo mat for signing by the characters. Now if I could just decide if I need it signed shortways or tallways... (lol, tallways... is that even a word?)
You know how we are surprising my DD? Well the outfit I got her for the pics has green in it, and she thought I bought it for St. Patty's day and went off to school in it.

The last five cruises we have been on, someone had made such neat lanyards and I got to thinking and I missed them this time, so......
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a99/CanalCruiser/other/SBbadge.jpg
So, no little green mickeys for us, just the lanyards. Handy place to put the KTTW card.
Before I forget, thanks Melissa for your post of some time ago with the pictures of the Ocean Quest. Now we know what to look forward too, or Payton will look forward to.
We went thru the all of our docs today. Airline, AKL, luggage transfers and most imporatantly CRUISE DOCS. We are all set. I hope.
We got our reservation for breakfast at AKL, so that is a go.
We may try and do dinner too. Playing that one by ear. May just eat by the pool.
So to those flying out of Indy on Friday morning, we will be clean at the beginning of Concourse B. USAir at 7. zzzzzz. :lmao:
Hang in there, we will be having fun before you know it. :wave2:

Thanks for that Bob! Time feels as though it is S-L-O-W-I-N-G down. We're about as packed as we're getting before Thursday night. Flying to Orlando bright and early Friday morning and staying at Country Inns and Suites. Planning a trip to ABC for wine and to Ron Jon's for bikinis for the DDs. And hoping to get a room with a view of the port so that when I wake up too early Saturday morning, I can look out and see the Magic!

My husband and I were just talking about how we were almost ready to go. Then I realized that I still need to pack the car...ugh (we're driving down from Virginia). Guess I'll wait until tomorrow night to paint my nails!
Glad everyone is feeling better. Good thing we didn't book a February cruise!
Did I mention that my DH cut his leg on a nail in the attic? It didn't need stiches, but he had to go in for a tetenus shot.

Ok, I am so completely confused about the whole lanyard thing. We will be getting some from DVC as we are members. Will this effectively hold the KTTW card, or do I need some sort of plastic cover? We have never done the whole lanyard thing, but thought we might since we will get them from DVC.
I guess we would like the cover picture thing too!
Our names are:
Amy
Eric
Bennett
Lindsay
Gail
Grant (though you really don't need to do one for him, he is only 9 months)
In the vain of sharing, I did some cute door pictures that say "Cruising the Magic, featuring the ...... Family" then it list all of our names. I can personalize the picture and email to you. Unfortunately, we don't have color printing capabilities right now. I also have the bubble letter names with Disney characters in them (in princess, pirate, and disney baby, as well as grumpy, disney "mom" characters, and older "fairy" types.) I would be happy to personalize and email those as well.

Melissa...I am with AmyBethchristian this is our first cruise also. Do the kids wear lanyards too? I thought it might be a good idea with the Ocean Quest/lab activities (they are 11 and 9). We are also DVC members and I had heard we would get lanyards from them. Is this true?
What you are making from BobandLee looks really nice. If you do not mind 4 more I would really appreciate it.

Hi Amy and Denise :-)
Most lanyards come with a clear plastic pouch that holds a credit card sized insert (or inserts). I don't have a DVC one, but I'm sure they are no different. My kids do wear them, it's a handy place for them to keep their KTTW card, and also if they have pins they stick them on there. No doubt some people don't like to wear them, but for me it's a handy way not to lose stuff around the ship. You can tuck your KTTW card in facing one way, and the little tag facing the other. :)
BobandLee
03-18-2009, 02:31 PM
Thank you Melissa for offering to do the badges.
The DVC holders are slightly smaller. I measured the ones we had and it seems that the badges that fit in them are 2 3/8 wide by 3 1/2 inches high.
The ones that I printed for us are about 2 1/2 by 3 5/8.
Then the Castaway Club holders are about the same but rotated 90 degrees.
Whew.
They ones we have from past cruises were done by a fellow cruiser, KPROS.
Here are some examples....

Since Bob of BobandLee has generously offered to share the great lanyard tag file he posted, if anyone wants one, please either pm me or post here with the names you would like on them and I will modify and print them. Unfortunately there is no time for me to order lanyards for everyone so it's provide your own. :) I will bring the tags to slip into them.
I'll need any lanyard tag requests by tomorrow evening as we are leaving early friday morning to drive down. :cool1:
Could someone please reconfirm for me the meeting times/places for our group?
Thanks everyone!
Thanks a lot for making these, Melissa! We are:
Ryan
Michelle
Alex
Christopher
Feel free to make Christopher's name really small to make it fit. Just don't shorten it to Chris whatever you do!
Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday!

Hi Melissa:
If it's not too late, we'd love the lanyard labels. We have DVC lanyards and assume we'll get Castaway Club lanyards this trip, so hopefully we'll have somewhere to put them. Cindy, Matt, Samantha and Charlotte. Samantha can be shortened to Sam if you need the space, but Charlotte is always Charlotte!! Thanks so much!

Good morning everyone! BobandLee, thanks for the measurements. That helps. :) Not sure what do do about the landscape vs. portrait orientation, but either way at least we'll have something. ;) I tend to be a perfectionist, but no time for that now.
3 of my 4 projects are either done or as close as they are going to get. Yesterday was hairy! Doing what's left of the laundry, then packing. By tomorrow morning whatever's not done isn't getting done... hopefully the important stuff will all be remembered/accomplished. I just hope my family doesn't have to wear their swimsuits to formal night.
I can take names for lanyard tags right up through this afternoon or even early evening.
Have a great day everyone!

Wow! A whirlwind trip that passed all too quickly. A special thank you to whoever did the lanyard tags for my entire family. It was a really nice surprise that even impressed my jaded teens. They were thrilled with them and even stated it would have been cool to have had a t-shirt from the design.
The questions of the day...who rebooked onboard and who took advantage of the wonderful offer from DVC?
MelissaE1
03-28-2009, 09:56 PM
You are welcome for the tags. :) Glad your kids liked them. BobandLee actually provided the original idea, I just reworked that design, printed them back to back and laminated them so the kids could keep them as keepsakes.
We don't have DVC, but I'm glad those of you who do got a great offer! I managed to convince my husband (around my "crying the blues cause I have to get off and leave the crew and my new friends" DD10) this morning that we should put down another deposit, we will probably use it for the new ship, though.
Hope everyone had a great time, I know we did. After all that work to surprise my DD I think it was actually overwhelming for her. Next time we'll let her know a little in advance. She usually makes a friend on the DIS beforehand, but she's so social that didn't matter. Coincidentally she met and hung around with BobandLee's granddaughter quite a bit, and one other little girl. They were quite a trio!
Anyone using the $99 pp bounceback offer? Awesome deal!

Hi All! Hope everyone had a safe trip home. We are all pretty miserable to be back and off the ship, I have to admit, and I am suffering from that feeling that everything is still moving, which is really disorienting, let me tell you! We had such a terrific time, and the DDs made terrific friends in Ocean's Quest, including Bob and Lee's grandson! They were in tears over saying goodbye. We went back and forth about rebooking and then made the big decision to book the Baltic next June. The ports are just too cool, and although we know it will be a very different kind of trip from cruising the Caribbean, we couldn't resist. And yes, the bounceback offer is amazing. We're looking at the calendar and trying to find a long weekend in the fall where we can steal away!!
Anyone do an excursion or experience something particularly amazing on the ship to share?

We got off the ship around 8:00 yesterday, got our rental car at Budget, and on the road by 8:30. Made it back to my mom's place in Sarasota around 11:00. Back to Ohio tomorrow afternoon (need to ease back into it all).
Great week. Sorry we missed the 2nd DIS meet. My kids enjoyed OQ and OL. They tend to enjoy the structured activities more so than hanging out socializing; they were always eager to go to the clubs after the shows, and a few times during sea days, and on CC.
The wind seemed to be our weather enemy. I suppose we can't complain as the sun was always out other than a brief shower on Monday. The canceled excursions didn't affect our plans, though. It was still a nice day on CC; it was warm enough to sit on the beach. The water was not too cold.
Thanks Melissa for making the tags; they were great! Also saw the post from Mitsy regarding the talent show - her kids were great dancers. I was impressed that other kids from the club were there to chear them on. That was me doing the rope trick - I didn't know about the talent show ahead of time, so had to go shopping in Cozumel for rope that would make due. I would have liked to see more adults participate. Got a chuckle seeing the "Von Trapp Family" violinists. :)
Well, we bit and joined DVC. With my mom in Florida much of the year, we go to WDW 1-2 times per year a couple days at a time, so it's something that has been on our minds, anyway. A couple friends back home are members, and swear by it. Hope my DD13 keeps her grades up, as maybe we just spent some of her college money :) The DVC 'free cruise' offer had limited days - nothing when school is out, so we took the extra development points.
I'll post a trip report later.

Good Afternoon everyone.
After the "adventure" that USAir provided for us yesterday and then taking the kids home, we finally got to bed at 2:30.:scared1:
Of course our dog Belle was glad to see us and just kept letting us know how happy she was. Whew!
Just last week we were enjoying temps in the 80's. A big slap of reality this morning as I was taking the suitcases out of the car in a brief SNOW shower. Sigh.
It was a great week for us. It was so great meeting all of you, even if I forgot a few names. It is always good to make new DisFriends.
Paige, the granddaughter, was looking forward to the Oceaneer Lab, as she had heard about "the club" from her brother. She probably spent too much time there, but she really enjoyed it.
She really treasures her "friendship book". But she has a couple of phone numbers without area codes, so I am not sure how that will work for her.
The grandson, Payton, at first thought he did not want to be in the Ocean Quest. He wanted to go to the Stack. But as it turned out, he spent a lot of time there also. He was texting his new friends all last evening while we were being "held hostage" in Philly.
Us? We always have a great time on cruises. Usually we cruise with a bunch of other Disers and there are lots of pre-planned activities and such that keep us busy. This time, things were a bit more laid back. Lee got relaxation time in and I got to take a lot of pictures of the kids and the ship.
Key West was a lot of fun. Did our own thing. Mainly shopping.
We did stop by Captain Tony's to re-hydrate.
The two excursion that we did were wonderful.
The pirate encounter at Grand Cayman was a lot of fun, but maybe a bit crowded. Paige got a chance to show off her toughness by walking the plank and jumping off the ship during the swim time.
Then the Dolphin Encounter was a lot of fun.

Of course we had to buy the DVD.:goodvibes
Kept waiting for someone to stop by and "buy the first round".:confused3
Today will be spent unpacking and relaxing for work tomorrow.
I also have to work on the DVD of pics and vids for the kids.
They have seen DVDs of other cruises and are waitng for theirs this time.
Also, we took pictures at the second meet on monday. Just wondering if it is cool to those in that pic for me to post it on the board? I always try to ask before I do.
Everyone have a great day.

Bob, it's ok with me if you had the pic from the 2nd meet. Matt spent much of yesterday working on a DVD slideshow of our pics (about 1000 of them to start), and I saw our version of that pic when we watched the slideshow last night. It was great! Also lots of pictures of your grandson in the slideshow, along with the rest of the group from OQ that we have dubbed "the Posse".
Terrific shot of you and the dolphin!

Melissa, thanks for the name tags. Nice to meet everyone. We enjoyed the cruise, of course, I forgot the get together on Monday cuz I didn't write it down. We were so lucky to get into Castaway Cay - we've had three cruises that we weren't able to go there. Had a nightmare of a flight getting home, two hours late flight, had to divert to Columbus, OH, for time on the ground. Finally landed at Indy about 1 a.m. The most turbulance I ever remember - did alot of praying! :worship: Got home after 2 a.m. (We are CST) Dusting of snow this a.m., but I WON'T give up wearing my sandals.
We are doing the bounceback 3 night on August 13 - 10th anniversary of the Wonder maiden voyage.

I could hardly get any pictures of him.

Payton took the picture of me and the Dolphin. I took pictures of the rest of the family. We bought the Dolphin DVD there also. Nice keepsake.
I don't have quite 500 pictures, so sifting thru will be a bit easier.
I have a handful of clips to add to our DVD also. So I think I can come up with something acceptable.:goodvibes

Not the worse we've ever been in, but it was not good.
Lee said she saw some folks at the luggage carousel that had DCL tags on their bags that must have been on our flight, but I missed seeing who they were.
We gave that one a lot of thought, but we really want to do the wine and cheese festival also. Don't want to make 2 separate trips.

Hi everyone!
Bob, pictures are fine with me!
Lost a piece of luggage in the port terminal - ended up in Massachusettes. Thank goodness we were able to get an earlier flight or we would have landed in a snow storm. Northern Illinois got hit pretty good. Still some out there. Apparently we were premature on putting the snow blower away and pullling out the lawn mower.
We booked a 2010 Christmas cruise. We will see if we keep it for that date.
Thanks again Melissa for the name tags.

Gosh, it has taken a whole week for me to get back to normal.(:confused3)
Anyway, the suitcases are cleared out and put up and the souvenirs are thrown in the Mickey Room.
It is not final yet (because I have to change my vacation schedule) but we should be cruising again in October.
Will do a $99 3 day in conjunction with a WDW stay and the wine and cheese thingie.
All in all it was a great trip up until the last day. I am finishing up sorting pictures and stuff. If anyone is interested, I can send a link to them when I am done.

Great to see a post on our thread, and thanks for those pictures Bob. They are a great way to start a Sunday and a wonderful reminder of where we were 2 weeks ago. Would love to see more pictures! We are booked on the first 3-night in December with the $99 offer. Mailed in the voucher on Friday. Now just crossing our fingers on the blackout dates. Still lots of texting between our DDs and their buddies from Ocean's Quest, including Bob's grandson. I find myself on the DIS more than usual, just because it makes me feel closer to the ship! Hope everyone is well.

Hi all - sorry it took me so long to get back to the boards. It was a rough week getting back to reality after being gone for two weeks. I also had to do damage control at school due to a rogue parent who got their panties in a twist and decided to launch an ambush on the headmast and board (I'm on the board and Pres of the parents assoc.) while we all were on vacation.
To top that off the boatyard was working on the boat and found that the "head" holding tanks were starting to leak!:scared1: So, now the boat is completed torn apart so they can replace them.
We all had such a great time and it was fun to meet all of you. If you are ever in Connecticut, please come for a visit and a sail if the timing is right. At least you'll know that the head will work! I was alittle disappointed that my daughter didn't want to go the club as much this year. We had an older teen with us and she did meet up a few times with one of the other disser's daughter, but our three kids just liked to hang out together and go to the arcade (that bill is a whole other story!).
We just hung out in Key West and purchased alot of Kino sandals. I think I must have 25 pair now. In Grand Cayman we went to the Marriott (I'm also a Marriott vacation club owner) and for $10 each did the day pass. Great snorkeling there! Did a quick trip to the butterfly farm too.
We did the dolphin push/pull in Cozumel (Bob - we saw you across the enclosure area) and then just hung out on a few lounge chairs. It was a nice day. At CC, we went really far down the beach past the playscape and pretty much took turns sleeping on the beach. It was really a nice day although too windy for the kids to snorkel.
Melissa - thanks for all the work you did on the name tags. They were great! We didn't rebook or add on to DVC (I did when BLT first opened up), but our friends did. They added 100 points at BLT. I don't think we will do the 3 day offer as we have a trip planned in the beginning of Dec. for Megan's 10th birthday.
Cindy - I swayed for a few days too!

I love your signature block! Some day I'm going to learn how to figure that out. We had a scare on the $99 offer yesterday when the DIS was reporting that December 3rd was blacked out, but our terrific DU rep had called in the code first thing yesterday morning, and we got our reservation switched over before they ran out of rooms. Whew! We've never seen the holiday decorations on the ship, so we are psyched!

Good morning everyone!
We ended up booking the bounceback for Dec 10. Also excited to see the ship and CC decorated for the holidays. Originally we had booked for T'giving week in advance, but when I called to double check they said no way. I think a few people got it that called right when they opened, but it saves me some money doing four days in the parks at peak rates, since I can't pull DS14 out of school that long in Dec. We'll go down later in the winter or early spring instead. Probably going to at least tack on one day for Mickey's Christmas Party. :) It's such a good deal I really can't complain about the dates!
Also wanted to say thank you to everyone for the appreciation for the lanyard tags. :goodvibes Last time I made a jillion name tags with ribbons for people and hardly anyone even showed up to get them, much less acknowledged the effort. And Bob, thanks again for the file and idea, I think I'll do something like that always in the future now. :)
Have a great day everyone!

My kids hung out with an extremely large group of kids from the stack who were known for saying "Now that's dirty" for a positive. The kids ranged in age from 13 or 14 to probably 17 (with one 18 year old). They were a late night group who sometimes called themselves the "Breakfast Club." If your kids were part of this group, could you please send me a private message witht their name and whether you are cruising next year the same week. We are cooking up a reunion and don't want to miss everyone. :thumbsup2
