We have been in loop 1400 on all our trips to the Fort. I upgraded us today from a preferred to the premium sites and requested loop 800 at the recommendation of the CM because I wanted to be by a creek. We were by the creek last trip in 1400 and I enjoyed all the waterfowl that were at our site in the morning.
Is this loop a nice loop? Anything I need to know about it. I am out of my comfort zone not being in the same loop so I am just curious.
Thanks guys.

Hi,
I use to be a faithful 1900 loop person myself, but I have since become a 800 loop fan. Now, you'll find alot of folks here like loop 300. But, I found it a little to loud during the fireworks and the electrical water parade.
Loop 800 is still convient to all the areas I need and the site has the added benefit of cable access just like they have at the resorts. That loop and I think it's the 700 (which has access to this) have a canal dog walk area. No grass mind you, it's mostly leaf litter but my Boston's did just fine with it. Loop 800 is now what I request when staying at the Fort. :)

Thanks for the info. We usually don't bring our dog but I think since we will be in a pet loop this time we might give it a try as long as she is physically up for the long trip. She has trouble with arthritis and has a disk problem in her back and has trouble with car sickness when driving more then an hour.
Do you have to give Disney information on your pets before you check in? What if something happens before we leave and she isn't up to the long trip so we let her stay home? Sorry to sound dumb we have just never brought her to Disney with us before and I wasn't sure how it worked. Everywhere else we camp that allow pets you don't have specific places for them like they do at Disney so it doesn't matter.
Don't want to break any rules. :rolleyes1

You just need to tell them that you are bringing pets. When I booked before I just told them I was bringing pets and they noted it on the reservation. When you arrive you will have to pay the $5/day pet fee at that time. If you decide not to bring your pets, it shouldn't be a big deal. There are plenty of people in the pet loops without pets, so I don't see why it would be a problem.
As far as the 800 loop, it is nice. It is just like any other loop, some sites are nices, others are so so. Here is a pic of 817, I would avoid it if I had a choice, was kind of tight, but it worked. Loop 800 has a nice pet walk area.

Thanks beagles7278. That is good to know.
BTW, the picture of your beagles on the pet pic thread is great. The one on the dash looks very comfy. :thumbsup2
