We got its!!! Just thought I'd inform you of another shareholder... not me (sadly i'm not 18 and they wouldn't let me have shares yet) but my mum. Kind of stupid to have one now, since we applied for it before we decided to go to WDW rather than DLP.

I had to use my temporary letter when I was there at Christmas but now I have my actual card do you have to carry ID with it or will they just accept the card?

They should just accept the card without ID, although I always have my driving licence on me which has photograph on. So if they ever did ask i'm covered. In 7 years I have been a member I have never had to show ID.

Congrats on the card! I am interested to know if there is a minimum number of shares you have to purchase to get the card. We have shares of Disney stock for the States, but not Euro Disney. We plan on visiting next summer and would love the discounts.

We recently purchased 25 shares, and faxed off the forms for the free two-year membership. We received notice of our membership ID number, but have yet to receive the card. According to the membership application form, if you own 5 to 20 shares a two year membership costs 30 Euros. 20 shares and over and the membership is free.
FYI, by the time all the commissions and fees were added on, our 25 shares cost us a little over $300. We've already saved that much booking our rooms for our upcoming family trip in early May -- we have a couple of WDW Cast members in the famly, so we get in the parks using their passes. Without the shareholders club, we would have been forced to purchase passes along with our rooms, and that would have cost us much more than $300 for the 6 adults and 2 kids in our group! :scared1:

Yeah, the new cards are easier as they have a barcode on the back which I assume they scan rather then having to go through their folders finding the right one to scan, it is surprising how many discount codes they have:eek:
Somethings you can't get discount on such as the anniversary wine (we did get it once the next tme they wouldn't allow it:confused3 )
