hiya guys...sorry I booked fd & disappeared today! - the basement flooded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you know THE basement that we just spent a gazillion dollars to finish...apparently some lovely child of one of our friends was flushing paper towels down the toliet on Friday night mike said he stopped her, before she did too much, or so he thought...I went down there today after the gym to grab a diet coke from the fridge & had to p so walked down the hall & YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! major disaster, we're talking probably going to have to claim it on our homwowners disaster...

OH NO!!!!!! That is horrible news Chris! I am so sorry. This has NOT been a good time for people and flooding in their homes. Some friends of mine just bought a hosue and redid soooo much. New floors, cabinets, etc.... well their house flooded too. 3 inches of water. Everything has to be ripped out and replaced. And her brother's hosue flooded right after that. :hug: What a crappy thing to have happen!

Nope, we found it at a specialty store in the mall (stratford) but i have seen the bracelet and the charms listed on EBAY (you have to buy all the pieces seperately.) Just look up Disney Swarovski.

We did Whispering Canyon last time and I was not at all impressed. I think it's because our waitress was really bad and no fun at all. The food was not bad. I would like to try it again and hope for a little more action! I would like to take Ry to 50's too. I went there back in 96 and loved it. I wish it were on the Fantasmic dining package.

Have you all ever used Bare Escentuals? I am almost out of my normal face makeup, so I ordered some on-line tonight. I am really excited to give it a shot! I had it expressed delivered so I don't have a week or so with no makeup! :scared1: I got the special starter kit plus an add on. :rolleyes: We'll see! I have 60 days to try it. I am hoping it is worth it!

The only 5 charms they sell so far for this bracelet are the 5 they have in the pic. So that's just under 200$ total if you buy it in the store. So maybe this person got it on sale or bought it in bulk??

Have you all ever used Bare Escentuals? I am almost out of my normal face makeup, so I ordered some on-line tonight. I am really excited to give it a shot! No, I just pick my days based on faves. We always do MK first, then Epcot, the Mgm, then AK. I wouldn't worry about the days part. And you aren't going during a super busy time, like Easter or something.

Just pick days and make a list of restaurants you do want to eat at.

Alright so DMIL mentioned to us on Easter that 10/6 is SILs Confirmation and we have to be there. Normally..not a problem, one of us would go or both and someone would just watch the kids in the back of the church. (i don't trust them in mass during big events where they could get loud).

BUT it's the weekend before we leave for vacation. Which means it is the last minute that we have to get the house ready for the trip since we are leaving the house friday (heading to a hotel for the night). It's our last day to run our errands and not to mention clear out the unused rooms (remember i am having the carpet cleaners in while we are gone).

On saturday i have an OB appt. and Gabriel has a Doctors appt a few hours after mine, so we will be busy the whole day.

Soo Sal and I are just not wanting to go to this thing, but we KNOW if we don't show we will not hear the end of it..So he wants me to think of what to say??
What do you think?? should we just go?

It's an hour and a half away from here, and at noon, so needless to say it's going to be an all day affair. :rolleyes:

Like i said normally not a big deal, but it's the last full day we have to run errands and get teh house ready for vacation. ALOT of furniture is going to the basement and such, so it's a big day for us....

K, I know where you are coming from and honestly, my ILs are nuts. We get presented with similar 'obligations' several times a year, usually out of nowhere. Maybe Sal could show up alone, and the ILs will at least get the pic that you guys are very busy right now. He can do a 'pop in'. If you have doctors appts, that is a legit excuse. You need to see the doc before you travel ;) and cannot really reschedule that.
It really depends on how close you all are. Would you normally go there? We avoid pretty much all family occasions because they are so uncomfortable. It sounds bad, but they are just 'different'. Sean's SIL is absolutely insane (everyone's words, not just mine) and for her kids bdays she has a big cook out for extended family and long lost friends. Uncomfortable. We avoid it. I just wouldn't do that. I keep it small. Her house is a disaster zone and 2 years ago she actually discussed having to HIRE A CLEANING SERVICE just to get her house presentable for viewing. We usually have a trip planned :rolleyes: during that time. This year I think I may have to visit my sister in Texas...:rolleyes1

Sean's mom is currently in a phase of trying to change the limits and boundaries, and I have to say NO. Jul is almost 7. MIL set our relationship up this way, so this is how it is. I have no interest in changing it now.

His older brother is unmarried and lives for family stuff, my sister is just a bump on a log and has to go everywhere anyways...soo none of our parents have encountered this b4...so being the first stinks!

Sean's brother works for his parents and so his mother basically provides free daycare for him. While he works, she watches his 3 (under 3) kids. So they basically out of no choice, are very involved with the family. But we think, how is this saving her business any money, in that she spends her working hours babysitting (for free)?

Alright so DMIL mentioned to us on Easter that 10/6 is SILs Confirmation and we have to be there. Normally..not a problem, one of us would go or both and someone would just watch the kids in the back of the church. (i don't trust them in mass during big events where they could get loud).

BUT it's the weekend before we leave for vacation. Which means it is the last minute that we have to get the house ready for the trip since we are leaving the house friday (heading to a hotel for the night). It's our last day to run our errands and not to mention clear out the unused rooms (remember i am having the carpet cleaners in while we are gone).

On saturday i have an OB appt. and Gabriel has a Doctors appt a few hours after mine, so we will be busy the whole day.

Soo Sal and I are just not wanting to go to this thing, but we KNOW if we don't show we will not hear the end of it..So he wants me to think of what to say??
What do you think?? should we just go?

It's an hour and a half away from here, and at noon, so needless to say it's going to be an all day affair. :rolleyes:

Have you all ever used Bare Escentuals? I am almost out of my normal face makeup, so I ordered some on-line tonight. I am really excited to give it a shot! I had it expressed delivered so I don't have a week or so with no makeup! :scared1: I got the special starter kit plus an add on. :rolleyes: We'll see! I have 60 days to try it. I am hoping it is worth it!

I AM BEAT! I had patches of grass growing but I dug up all the bare spots. Pulled weeds, removed rocks, spread seed, raked, fertilized and then watered. My arms are shaky and I think I am going to be a sore shick tomorrow! But HOPEFULLY in 2 weeks, I will have some grass! Yeah!

SEE!!! thank YOU!!!!! i don't invite each and every person i know to my kids birthday parties (just parents and grandparents), or everytime the kid goes on the potty i don't throw a party! know what i mean? Baptisms were very small. OK, I found out the results...its DIEGO's sister Daisy who had the party, not Dora's sister. It must be her cousin.
Diego's family appears inconsistent between Go, Diego, Go! and Dora The Explorer. His sister Alicia appears prominently in Diego, but is absent in Dora. In Dora, his 15 year old sister Daisy has been featured prominently in a couple of episodes, but Alicia remains unseen. This likely just means he has two sisters and Daisy doesn't live in the rainforest.

Alright i have a question and i need honest answers! call me a jerk if you mus! :laughing:

Alright so DMIL mentioned to us on Easter that 10/6 is SILs Confirmation and we have to be there. Normally..not a problem, one of us would go or both and someone would just watch the kids in the back of the church. (i don't trust them in mass during big events where they could get loud).

BUT it's the weekend before we leave for vacation. Which means it is the last minute that we have to get the house ready for the trip since we are leaving the house friday (heading to a hotel for the night). It's our last day to run our errands and not to mention clear out the unused rooms (remember i am having the carpet cleaners in while we are gone).

On saturday i have an OB appt. and Gabriel has a Doctors appt a few hours after mine, so we will be busy the whole day.

Soo Sal and I are just not wanting to go to this thing, but we KNOW if we don't show we will not hear the end of it..So he wants me to think of what to say??
What do you think?? should we just go?

It's an hour and a half away from here, and at noon, so needless to say it's going to be an all day affair. :rolleyes:

Like i said normally not a big deal, but it's the last full day we have to run errands and get teh house ready for vacation. ALOT of furniture is going to the basement and such, so it's a big day for us....

What about a stretchy pocket on the side for a small water bottle? I get SO tired of carrying Ryan's around. It would be great if he had his own spot for one. Or maybe add a place for an ID tag. A simple plastic sleeve on the outside would be great! Ummm.... Maybe add a small pad to the strap area so it does not dig into the kids neck?

I decorated it with those Home Depot cut out Mickeys - red not lime green ! He put his autograph book, pen, a smaller gatoraide bottle and his pins in their. I LOVED that stinkin thing !!

No more fumbling around for anything. When he wanted it, he had it !! :yay:

I'm so hungry today. I ate all my foods, except I have 2 more vegetables and one more fruit. I'm all about the fruit, but I hate veggies. The only veggie I like is tomato sauce.

My brother is going to travel down to WDW on the 22nd for our big family trip so he can get free dining. He'll stay for a week. I was all ready to book it for him tomorrow, because I thought today was Wednesday. :rotfl:

Tia...It is amazing!!! I buy it in store though, they have a whole bare escentuals store at the King of Prussia Mall. I love that it can be liquid or powder. I usually don't wear makeup, and its so easy to use! Plus, if I have a zit or something, I put the powder on it at night, and it dissapears!

I started to panic and then I saw he and a CM walking out. The CMs there all signed a card for Ryan and gave him a light saber. Ry's goal is to break the record for number of times of riding ST! :rolleyes: I went on it a few times, but after that he just kept getting back in line while I waited. I had never really watched Star Wars until I met Terry. He is addicted to it and brought Ry into the fold.
Of course you can come!!!!! I HATE waterparks, but it was on Ry's "must do" list, so I gave in. I think it would be a blast to have you and Austin there too!

I agree with the padding on the neck strap. I believe IKEA sells a pack of rubber coasters for super cheap, you can cut these up into strips :) and attach them on, that way it's comfy and they stay clean!

A small zippered area would be good for Disney Dollars and such, even Autumn carries one around :) it makes her feel like a little mommy :)

Keep the strap thicker like in the pic, so that kids can put their pins on there too!!

On the inside where the Album goes, you should put a little elastic so that the pens can go in there. THEN on the pic where the pens are go ahead and put the zippered pouch there, so kids can put whatever they want in them :) :)

From EBAY there are no Mickey and Minnie prints so try that! So cute! Princesses seem to get the most money, no one bid on the POOH stuff and Ariel did alright too :)

On the BACK of the lanyard (the part that rests against the chest) you should put the clear pouch, so that parents could put the info for their children on there (names, cell numbers, resort) and That way it would not be visible to everyone, just in case of emergency :)

it is really cheaper to buy your own lil dorm fridge right now one is on sale at Costco Tax free for $39.99 and I can have it shipped free.. but again its free dining so I gave in !
