I've been to Canada, Mexico, Egypt, Germany, Newfoundland, and Austria.

We used to go to a hot spring resort every 4th of July. We got to busy to go after awhile....

7th grade. The teachers were very respectful. We lived in Illinois and I had always been painfully shy but these teachers treated me like I wasn't invisible any more....I have great memories of that year!

My best vacation was the Disney Cruise we took in July. It was only 4 nights but it was the most enjoyable time I have ever had! :banana:

ooohhhh, so many to chose from...but how about the one in Jamaica with DH, mom and dad, and DH and dad spent almost the whole week whining and complaining about stuff they didn't like....while me and mom just enjoyed it for what it was and had a great time.....

UGGGGHHH This HORRIBLE lawyer (nuttin agin em, know lots of nice ones, this jest aint one of em). He would literally hang up on you right in the middle of your sentence as soon as he finished what he was saying, didn't much care if you were still talkin. Also one day, very shortly after I started, there were some magazines in the waiting room, I didn't know anything about them, didn't put them there....but he THREW open my window, threw the magazines in there, hitting me with them, and said something about how his office didn't have these sorts of magazines in it....blah blah...don't remember what all he was saying because I was so stunned that he had thrown them at me. Needless to say, didn't last there too long.

Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't...Almond Joy or Mounds?? Because as you know... :rolleyes1 "Almond Joy's got nuts, Mounds don't" :rolleyes1

My son's name is A. Ryan T..... (A. = Alfred :duck: ) DH, FIL, and grandfathers going back 3 or 4 generations all have Alfred R. T...... Some go by their middle name (like DH & DS), others by first (FIL goes by Al). I wanted to keep this going (goes back to late 1800's) so, we already knew first name would be Alfred (okay, I cringe a bit, and I'm sure he'll hate me one day...but it IS a neat tradititon.) Didn't TRY to keep the middle name starting with a "R", but we really liked the name "Ryan", so we went with it. Besides, if the men on DH's side of the family put the "R" name first, the initials would be "RAT" instead of "ART" ;)

The first person I think of is my DH. He was raised on a small farm in Iowa. He has motorcycled around the country, has 2 degrees, has made a wonderful life for us in Montana, and is the darn luckiest guy I have ever seen (it's eerie)! :teeth:

Most of our relatives live out of state. When my DD lived in town, they would come over "for Mom's cooking".....not that it's great, but kids don't know any better than what they are raised with! :rotfl:
