Does DCL cruise have to be within UY using points?

if I have banked points expiring 4/2009, can I use them to book a DCL cruise that does not cruise until 8/2009? Or does my use of the cruise have to occur prior to expiration of points? thanks, Elaine

We used some of last years points for this years cruise, you should be ok.

We bought a resale with banked VB points which we used for a cruise. You'll be fine!

You should check with DVC. As a rule, exchanges are paid for with points from the UY when the travel occurs, in this situation, the 2009 UY. You should also book it ASAP to make sure you have options if this doesn't work out.
