What's the lowest you've paid for an All Stars room in the first half of August in the past? Trying to decide if family should camp with us or do AS, but they'd need to get it pretty cheap. Would be staying Aug 5-13, if that makes a difference. I know there's no big discounts out yet for this year, just trying to guess from the past! Thanks in advance!

We paid $49 ($54 odd with tax) end of August this past year..we could have also gone beginning of August. We used a code from Mousesavers. ..I htink it was the Spanish Speaking magazine one.

I remember that one. Anyone else? You don't want me to have to put up with four cousins in my camper do you:rolleyes:

I also got a $49 rate last year at All Star Music. I cannot remember the code, but I got it from Mouse Savers as well. $49 is by far the cheapest rate I've ever seen for a Disney resort!!

Hope this helps. I am going a little later than you but I am paying $69 taxes included for the dates: Aug 25-Sept 3. I used the AAA Discount. I am hoping that more discounts are coming out soon for that time and I can switch to a moderate.
Good luck with your search

Well I just called CRO this morning and with my DC discount the best rate I can get at an All Star is $95.12 with taxes for July. I'm not thrilled with that for an All Star resort, especially since they don't plan on bringing back early entry.

Last Aug. I got the $49 a nt rate at the AS Movies.

Unless they come out with a code for a better rate, I'll look into staying offsite.

We are going the 3rd week of August this year and we are paying $77.62 with tax using the Mickey Monitor Annual Pass Code for All Star Music. We paid $54.88 in Feb 2002.
Rates go down August 26th, the day we leave.

I guess we'll all just have to keep an eye out for that "magic" code like some got last August. I know it's really too early yet for great summer rates, so am hopeful! Meantime they have three nights reserved at the AAA rate at least. Thanks again!
