What kind of socks do you wear with your crocs?

In the Fall, I always wore my crocs w/o socks and would have never dreamed of wearing them with socks. Then came winter and I started wearing my black crocs with black socks when I wore my jeans. Now I HAVE to wear socks with them! However, the socks that I wore with the jeans will not work with shorts.

What kind of socks do you wear with your crocs? Do you wear No-show or Low-Cut? Do you just wear white or do you wear a color that is close to the color of your crocs? Particularly, what color would you wear with black crocs? I don't want to look like a geek... at least not more of a geek than I will already look, but I have to wear my crocs with socks!


BTW... Please no responses about how ugly they look with socks! I have severe OCD and will stress about it until the trip! I just need advice on what kind of socks people have found that work!

If you HAVE to wear socks, go with the no show ones! That's like wearing sandals with socks. :headache:

I wear white cotton ankle socks--the same socks I wear w/ my tennis shoes. DH does the same thing. (my crocs are red and DHs crocs are black)

No way! Go all out! I LOVE novelty socks. I love wearing Disney socks with Disney crocs! Or any other kind of "fun" sock.

I wear no show moisture wicking socks with my crocs. I wear white ones just like I would with my tennis shoes.

The more I think about it I may get the moisture wicking socks! That sounds like the "smart" way to go. anything to help my feet from being hot, sweaty, and being rubbed the wrong way.
