This is my first time going to Disney and my first time using the DDP. Does anyone know if it is possible at a TS if you can exchange a dessert for an appitizer?

You cannot substitute appetizers for desserts. The basic plan includes entree and dessert only.

My Daughter will be 9 in October when I go. Is she still considered a child or adult for the DDP?

The children's dining plan is available for kids age 3-9. Age 10 and up will get the regular plan.

Wednesday, when I called to book our ADR, I was told that some restaurants WILL allow you to switch an appie for a entre or an appie for a dessert. Just to talk to the waiter when you order.
