Do all travel agents have access to the same cabins?
On expedia it looks like there are only about 10 cabins left on the cruise I'm considering in the catagory I want. Its a year away would a cruise be that book up that far away?
I'm a first time crusier and thought I was planning far enough in advance.

I know what you mean....I am looking for Aug 3rd and the DCL website is only showing Cat 9's available. I think that some of their cabins are being held by different travel agents. Try calling a few different TA's and seeing what is available.

TAs who book a lot of groups sometimes block cabins in anticipation of those groups, especially during high seasons. That can explain why you might find a TA who shows availability while others don't. If the groups don't come through, the cabins will be released and made available. So don't give up hope. If you don't find what you want now, you may find it later.
Zurgswife - What category/dates are you seeking?

mmouse37 - Were you checking for Aug 3rd of this year? For this year, I see availability in Cat 5, 6, 7, 9 and 11 on the DCL site. On my own site I also see Cat 8 and 12 availability.

Quad? Hmmm. Well, for a Cat 5 for 4 people availability is GTY so no actual cabin numbers, but it is bookable. Main dining seating is waitlist, plenty of late seating.

For March 2, 2003, I show 8 cabins available in Cat 10, on Decks 7, 5 and 2. It's likely DU or others may have other availability.

 O.K....refresh my memory...where do you go to see the rooms available for certain cruise dates? Didn't know you could do this for our last cruise so I would like to be able to pick out the rooms we want for our next cruise. Is it on the Disney Cruise website or somewhere else? Thanks:jester:

You should be able to do it from any site that uses the CruisePro booking engine. In my case, I do it from my own travel site. I don't think it's proper to promote it from this forum since DU is the sponsor, but if you have questions you can email or PM me.
