Week after Thanksgiving plans

I'm sure that I know the answer to this, but here it goes. Last year my DH and I planned a trip to DW the week after Thanksgiving and had to cancel due to deaths in the family. Well, we decide, rather late, that we would like to go this year but unfortunately we have discovered that all of the TT sites are taken and we have an almost 30' trailer. I know that we could look outside the park but that would be less "Disney" magic. 1)What do you think my chances are of catching a cancellation and 2)Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for the help!

CAll, call, and call again....and just when you think you cant call anymore, call again....people cancel all the time.

Just keep calling every day. You're bound to luck into something. If they don't have the entire stay available get the days they do have available and keep calling to get the rest of the days. I've seen plenty of examples on here of people that do just that and end up getting the days they want.

DH actually called so much a couple of the CM's knew his voice and which dates he wanted. his motto..... NEVER GIVE UP !!!! BTW welcome to the Dis.....

Yep and it might be only a month or two when a lot of cancellations happen since people make plans way ahead and as the time gets closer have to cancel them.

DON'T GIVE UP AND PLAN ON GETTING YOUR RESSIES.

Thanks for the encouragement! I will keep up the good fight and hopefully
DH and I will be experiencing the Disney Magic during the Thanksgiving/Christmas holidays!
