Someone on another thread mentioned "E" tickets, and it brought back fond memories. I have old tickets from taking our kids and staying at the Polynesian back in about 1981. Looked back at the prices, and it is unbelievable. "Magic Kingdom Club" Magic Key books of 8 tickets (including admission and transportation) cost me $7.75 - and each ticket was good for one ride on any A through E attraction (the old way of doing things - the most popular rides took an E ticket.) The discounted ticket media for Magic Kingdom Club members was a saving of nearly $6 over the usual price of $13.20 for a similar booklet for non-members. I still have coupons for water sports or horseback riding, and for admission to "River Country." And I think our room at the Polynesian cost about what a value resort costs, now. Oh, the good old days.

admission tickets are still good for admission, I don't think the river country tix will translate to the current water parks, the a - e tickets are worth face value, which is like a buck.

I think I'll just keep 'em as souvenirs of good times (that's all I planned to do, anyway). Just reminiscing.

Just wanted to let you know that we also had tickets from 1984 that we had purchased in a vacation plan. Had River Country, a couple of lunch coupons and not sure what the others were (no park entry tickets). Gave them to my daughter on a trip that she had upcoming to Florida in 2006. She stopped in at guest services and they were able to take the items that she had and she received 4 passes to Disney Quest for them (I think they gave her a choice of DQ or one of the water parks). So take them by guest services and you may be pleasantly surprised.

That's a surprise. I may take them with me next month. My 4-yr.-old grandson might enjoy Disney Quest.
