I just had someones suitcase delivered to my home. It was shipped from DVC's Saratoga Springs. I stayed there in February with a friend who's last name is the same, however, she isnt a family of 4!
Folks, this is why you need to include a phone number on your suitcase tag and also put one INSIDE. I have gone through it looking for anything that would lead me to this family and all I know is its a family of 4. Their toothbrushes have their initals on them so this can be the final identifier. It doesnt look like this family ever got their luggage. Nothing has been worn.
Must say, I am impressed that they all fit into ONE suitcase! ha ha
Please let me know if this sparks anything....
Thanks,
Cynthia

Call MS, they should be able to track them down.

Ok, I am confused, wouldn't the owner of the suitcase be the one putting the address on the luggage, if so why did you get it?
If they didn't I would say SSR is who you need to contact.

I called Disney to let them know It's not mine but have yet to hear back from them.
All I can figure is that they came across this suitcase (no airline tags, no kind of baggage claim tags NOTHING is on this bag but one tag with the last name on it) and have searched for a livernois and my friend via my ressie turned up. I was surprised that they didnt call first (my number was on the ups lable) to find out where we might want it sent.

I did a Whitepages.com search...and got 300 results.:scared1: Maybe you could try contacting SSR directly.

One time I stayed I received a box in the mail a week later and in it were some clothes. I guess they thought it was mine but it wasnt. It must have been in one of the drawers in the room but I never opened any drawers.

Hello,
While I am still looking for this family, I have some interesting news.
I got a call from Disney Customer Service and the nice lady I spoke to told me she read about the suitcase here first...Then when she got to work she had a voice mail from me.:lmao:
She has researched all ressies for all resorts and came up nothing. She sent a ups call tag and we have returned the suitcase to Disney.
Somewhere out there is a family missing a suitcase....:confused3
Please, pass the word. Everyone needs to put a tag inside their luggage with contact information. A business card will do....
Thanks!

So, the suitcase was returned to disney a while back.
Yesterday I got a call from Old Key West to see if I lost a suitcase. ha ha
I can say this much, they really try hard to return lost luggage!

Sounds like fodder for a King novel.
