Yhe DC card doesn't work for Orlando. For Orlando you would need the Orlando book.

It will work everywhere else that takes it.

The Entertainment book expires on November 1 of the year the book is issued.

The Entertainment portion of the DC card only covers mainly restaurants and hotels in limited areas. It does NOT cover Entertainment book coupon offers and in no way replaces the original Entertainment book.

In fact, DC's Entertainment benefits are so limited in Orlando it is virtualy useless, especially if you can get similar discounts through promotional codes, AAA and AMEX. But if you are a DC member and go to disneyclub.com, follow the Entertainment link and search the benefits in other areas, you can see where you can use the card.

Oh oh! I reserved rooms at the Holiday Inn Nikkibird telling them I had the Entertainment Card (meaning the logo on the back of my DC card). Does this mean they won't accept the DC card as an Entertainment, and that I need to buy the Orlando Book From Entertainment in order to get the rate I booked? (We're going in August, so I do have some time here if I need to do that.)

Call them immediately to confirm. Not all hotels in the area accept DC's Entertainment card. As you can see by doing a search, its value as an Entertainment card in Orlando is virtually non-existent.

I tried to book Hard Rock Hotel's awesome $125/night rate with Disney's card and after making several calls, I was confirmed that Disney would rather have us stay in their resorts in the area, so hotels have been blocked out of the DC coverage. I had to buy the Entertainment book anyhow.

BUT, there's hope. I beleive http://www.entertainment.com is selling them for $10 off and free shipping! Buy your local book, it may be as low as only $10 now and you may not need to make any changes in your reservation.

How do I get the entertainment discount on the DCC? I have read that there is a coupon in the middle of the book, but not in my book. Anyone have any ideas? I was afraid that it was Nov 1st... Im going on my Honeymoon with it on Nov 3rd... Better make sure I get the new one asap...
