Ages for events onboard

I am going to be a first time Disney cruiser this May and was curious about the age requirements to get into the nightclubs. Are they 18? 21? or something else?
Also, what were some of the things you all did on Nassau and Castaway Cay? (I am hoping to not break the bank on those days- but I still would like to do some of the activities)! Any other info for a first-timer would be greatly appreciated! Thanx so much! :p

You have to be 21 to drink alcohol onboard or at Castaway Cay.

You have to be 18 to be a patron of Palo at any time or the nightclubs after 9pm. Also, if you're 18, you can drink at all ports of call except Key West and Castaway Cay.

The age to access the adults-only areas of the ship is 18. The drinking age on the ship and in Castaway Cay is 21.

My daughter just experienced her first DCL cruise as an adult. We had so much fun bringing her to the clubs and Palo brunch. She really enjoyed the adult pool. On our other 4 DCL cruises she was too young to enjoy the adult part of the ships. This was like a brand new cruise experience for her.
