Mardi Gras Parade Route??

We will be watching the Mardi Gras parade this Saturday & I was wondering what the parade route is? I heard it has changed from past years :confused3 .

Where does it start?? And end??

Starts and ends the same place, just turns right down "NY street" (past Mummy and Finnigans) rather than continuing straight. Basically counterclockwise around the park rather than clockwise.

Although I haven't been in a couple weeks, assuming they didn't change it back again...

So where does it actually start?? Is it still by Fear Factor??

it starts at fear factor and then goes all the way up and takes a left at NY Street. then it goes down and takes a left on hollywood and turns at mel's diner and goes down the cobblestoned street next to the water and finishes over by Beetlejuice. the best place to watch the parade is either by the start of the parade or by the new starbucks over by beetlejuice (at this spot you can watch the parade twice with out really moving around.

Couple weeks ago we watched near the start, in front of Nathan's Hot Dogs near Jaws. Not too crowded there that night, real close to the action, tons of beads for the kids.

The park map changes everyday and the Saturday maps have a dotted line for the parade route. We sat wher the parade turns, it slows down a little and the kids got lots of beads. Have fun!!!

I try and watch it by the Starbucks or near Beetlejuice and as soon as it passes I head over to the Boneyard for the concert.If you want double the amount of beads the area by Beetlejuice has the parade pass by twice,as it first comes by and then after it goes towards the front of the park it heads back to that area where the doors next to Beetlejuice is where it ends.

I'm going to try and get some decent pictures Saturday night. It's going to be mobbed with the Heart concert, Ellen taping starting at 3pm and the end of spring break! :scared1:
