I can't tell you how many times his posts of encourgement have made my day.

Day-after-day, year-after-year, Dan has promoted good will on these boards and helped countless DISers with his words of optimism.

Let's give the props where they are due!

Dan is a long time poster with marvelous knowledge of all things Disney and a great contributor here on the boards. Not everyone has had the pleasure of encountering Dan's helpful nature.. but those who do -- appreciate it.

As delightful and helpful as Dan is, this thread doesn't have much to do with Theme Park Trip Planning, so I will be moving it to the Theme Park Community Board.

Absolutely!! I know Dan, I've been on the receiving end of some of his good advice...I have no issues whatsoever with accolades given to Dan. But....that board was not the place for it to happen. Of course, none of the TPA&S boards are my particular bailiwick, so to speak, I have no say whatsoever what goes on there. I was just commenting on the thread's placement.

I've run across many of Dan's posts and have always found them great.

You know its funny, I'll read one thread and think "gosh we are snippy today," and then I'll read another and think "what a nice bunch we are." I guess thats what happens when a few thousand people have a few thousand opinions/thoughts. :disrocks:
