Just been looking through a few posts here and they have got me thinking about booking the Half Board (or HB plus) option for when we go.

Can you choose from anything on the restaurants meals or are you limited to a certain set menu ? It says that you can have a "all you can eat buffet" but is this the same one as the other guests will eat or is there a special "half board option" buffet.

As we are there for 4 nights and 5 days will we pay for 4 lots of meals or 5 - it seems to indiacte that you pay per night, which would mean 4 meals ?

And finally (:) ) has anyone already gone down the half board option route - is it worth the money ? Is it worth upgrading to Half Board Plus ?

We did half board plus and we definitely saved money. We used one voucher for the Lucky Nugget, 2 for Auberge de Cendrillon (but even so this was still a saving), and 1 in Annette's, although there we got the money taken off the menu rather than choosing from the special set menu. For 4 nights you will have 4 vouchers. As far as I could see the set menus had perfectly nice things on, just DH gets carried away in restaurants and feels compelled to order the most expensive item! :lmao:

If you check out this link it says that the half board option is only available for guests staying in a Disney Hotel.
