View Full Version : Are Christmas decorations still up the first week of Jan.?

Anyone know how long after Christmas the decorations are kept up at the resorts and in the parks? I'm thinking of planning a trip Jan. 1 - 7, but really want to see all of the awesome holiday decorations. Thanks for your help!:)

At the BWI the decorations were still up as of Jan. 13th. There were also decorations in the theme parks. The only thing they took down were the big Christmas trees in the parks.

I didn't leave WDW until January 8th and I can tell you that a majority of the decorations were still up. Also, Christmas music was still being played at all the resorts (it drove me crazy after having listened to it for 3-1/2 weeks -- enough already!). I think on January 4th or 5th, the cherry-picker rode up to my BoardWalk view balcony and removed the exterior Christmas boughs from my balcony and everyone else's, but other than that, the interior decorations were not touched.
