Well ;) who has eaten all the easter eggs then !

im afraid i have done nothing but eat and drink all weekend :eek:

Last weeks weight loss was 18.5lb :yay:

Not me thank goodness, but I did have the most delish Italian meal on Friday with Pate, Lasagne, Lemon trifle and several bottles of wine :thumbsup2

Dh had his ears bent all weekend, for being so stupid and buying me a gigantic mini egg easter egg:sad2: which i just had to be so sad and work out the W. W. points on it -72- :eek: I have been very good and opened one of the mini egg bags and shared them out,only a massive ostrich egg and another mini egg bag left to get rid of now ;)
anyway, had my weigh in and lost 2lbs!!!!:woohoo: I am aiming to lose another 2lbs for next week:wizard:

That's very impressive, Jeanette given that you can't be very mobile! :goodvibes I gained weight in the first place because I damaged the ligaments in both hips a few years ago and being off my feet for several months meant I piled on the pounds - so I'm very impressed... :worship: :worship: :worship:

im not really following any diet as such, im trying to drink 3 litres of water or juice everyday (normaly finished it by lunchtime) and just trying to do low cal, low fat - oh god sounds so boring

i have a terrible habit of wanting quick results and i know it doesnt work like that and i do get very bored quickly.
but ive stuck a couple of pictures on the fridge - one of me now:scared1: and one of me on holiday in 06 and 2 1/2stone lighter, it that doesnt stop me stuffing rubbish in my face nothing will.

Your right i'm not mobile only can go room to room! instead of having 3 big meals i divide mine up into snacks. I found at one point that i was eating an evening meal because I'd made the dinner for everyone, and i ate mine even though i wasnt that hungry, so i just now eat when i feel hungry and not by the time it says on the clock! and at the moment it seems to be working :wizard:

Sounds good! :thumbsup2 I've been reading a lot lately about snacking rather than eating 3 regular meals a day. I've just printed off a couple of diet plans based on this idea - one where you eat 4x per day and another where you eat 6x per day. The idea is to keep your body (and metabolism) guessing which I know from past experience works best for me... When I get back from hols, I'm definitely going to try that regime. Not today tho' - I've just had a chicken salad sandwich for me lunch... ;)

Awww Sharon, I know how you feel! :hug: :hug: :hug: I felt all negative a couple of weeks ago (I'd eaten loads and my clothes seemed even tighter than usual) and wasn't going to weigh-in but after a little gentle persuasion from Jeanette (Netty) I braved the scales and TBH it wasn't as bad as I expected...

See how you feel at the end of the week and maybe try and face the scales then - sometimes however depressing it seems, it's better to confront the issue... Sending you plenty of pixiedust: and fingers crossed you have a good week...

That is so true! I honestly thought it would be quite straightforward - especially as I'd taken a while to lose the pounds - but the minute I took my eye off the ball (sorry about that, there's footie on TV) I gained weight... Oh well, I've learnt my lesson... ;)

I know the feeling of not wanting to jump on the scales, but once you do its not so bad as you can then draw a line under it and start again straight away, otherwise i found that if i leave it for another week i'm depressed any way.. :hug:

I haven't been on this thread for a couple of weeks - I had a flu bug and it has just wiped me out:sick: I actually lost a whole 5lbs which was fantastic but it came off on all the wrong places . It is all back on again as I could not survive on a liquid diet :lmao:

I only need to loose another couple of pounds but really need to tone up the wobbly bits so will get back on track next week :)

I know exactly what you mean. I seem to be losing weight, but the wobbly bits just seem to be even more noticeable (does that make sense)

Yeah i know exactly what you mean - i think my thunder thighs look worse than ever and I get told I dont need to loose weight but I just hate my legs and tum:scared1:

I haven't been on this thread for a couple of weeks - I had a flu bug and it has just wiped me out:sick: I actually lost a whole 5lbs which was fantastic but it came off on all the wrong places . It is all back on again as I could not survive on a liquid diet :lmao:

I only need to loose another couple of pounds but really need to tone up the wobbly bits so will get back on track next week :)

I just found this thread so I thought I'd say Hi. I have put on loads of weight over the last few years. We went to WDW in Dec 2007 and I was ashamed of my pictures. We have now booked our Feb 2009 trip and I am determined to be slimmer when we go next time. It will make all that walking easier too! I am starting a slimming class on Tuesday this week with my mum and a few other firends so we can support each other. I feel like I am in the right frame of mind for this so hopefully I will do well.

Thanks for letting me know Natalie, I'll look out for that thread next week. I am starting a slimming world class tomorrow night. I've done really well with slimming world in the past but unfortunately I have put it all back on plus extra :sad2:

Still with my trip planned and my best friends wedding in September I have things to aim for which helps me to stay focused
