I don't use any photosharing site but I sure would love it if fewer people used photobucket. Our IT dept. at work has it blocked and I can't see any photos when I read TRs at work (during my lunch hour, of course :rolleyes1 ).

DISNEYmooner2008 Photobucket now has an Edit feature that now allows you to resize, crop, fix redeye, and a lot more.
As for photobucket being slow,:confused3 I would suspect your ISP/Network or your computer (ie... not enought memory) as I have never had a problem with Photobucket.

My favorite site is Flickr.

Here is my flickr page: Just Click Here! (http://www.flickr.com/photos/ninety7/)

And a test post:

I would suggest flickr or smugmug. Both are sites that let you host practically unlimited amounts of photos, all for about $25 per year. They have a lot of good editing/cropping features as well.

though i haven't uploaded to the dis boards, i use photobucket for all my picture uploading. it's unlimited storage and i don't need it for much else than linking pictures into my posts.

Why would you pay $25 a year when Photobucket is FREE?:confused3

On Flickr, you get up to 100mb of upload a month for free. The $25 is for unlimited uploads.

The difference for Flickr and Photobucket is the interface and community aspect of Flickr. I didn't like the uploader on Photobucket and the tools you have to use. Flickr has an easy to use upload, can tag and retitle them during the upload and you have an easy to use link for multiple sizes of the same image. Great for posting on blogs, forums, etc.
