I'm looking for ideas or what others have done to remember stuff until you get around to scrapbooking it.
In particular I have a 2 month old baby and I'm already a year behind in the scrapbook. I'm worried I'll forget alot (I have a horrible memory) before I get around to scrapbooking any baby stuff.
Anyone have any ideas on a quick way to remember stuff until you can scrap it?

I used a calendar to write down all the events that happened the first year of DD. That way when I got around to scrapbooking it, I had something to look back on. You could keep a journal of your thougths about the day.

I second the journal because you can expand on the memory.
Now if only I could find those journals.....
(Just kidding, I have them in a safe place!)

One of my scrap circle keeps all her calendars, but she often can't remember what the scribbles refer to :rotfl: I second the journal - DS(14)'s books have loads of detail because I kept the journal including how many feeds etc. His first volume goes up to his 4th birthday - DS(8)'s goes up to nearly 7 :guilty: Once you get past the first you don't have the time for so much record keeping, and you cut down on the photos too!

I too kept a journal. Just this little book I got at Hobby Lobby for $1.99. I kept it in the kitchen in an area I walked by often and I would write a little something for each day...sometimes every day or two. I only did it for about the first 6 months after my son was born but I have some great little stories in it that I would have completely forgotten about had I not written them down. I wish I had kept going with the journal. Maybe I should start again!
Good luck on locking away all those precious memories!

I would jot whatever down and the date on a sticky pad, then slack it (lovingly, of course) onto the calendar.
I would recommend a CM power sort box to store all your pictures chronologically so when you do go back and scrap, the photos will be ready to go. You could also slip in any memorablia with the corresponding pics.
