Avis rental - aprx cost

Our plane is due to land in Orlando at 10am. If we rent a car and dont check it back in till we check in at the Radisson at 3pm is it considered 1 day or 2?
Also we will be renting a car in the morning after the ship docks and not turning it in till 4pm. Is that considered 1 day or 2?
In other words, does the time change at 2pm? Or is it for 24hr periods?

It would be considered one day. We rented a minivan when we disembarked on 3/2/02 and dropped it off at the Orlando airport at 6 pm. We were charged one day and the cost with a code from www.mousesavers.com was $57.00.

They do base it on a 24 hour period. We made our ressies on Avis.com and just plugged in the group code we found on mousesavers. It brought the price way down.
